I'd complain to the seller first, then raise an issue with ebay since it's kinda mis-selling, even if the product description is correct the postage details should be clear and accurate. I'd be pretty cross if it had happened to me.

    Good luck!

Apparantly I can't post links even if it's in a quote.

In the discription it states pickup only in small letters, but in the postage section it states free postage Royalk Mail 2nd Class Standard. Anyway i have arranged for a courier to pickup now, cost me £9.60:(. I will wait until it arrives then complain, and see if i can atleased get half back of the postage cost.

They do not make very clear at all on their website!
It's buried deep in the terms and conditions.
On their home page scroll down to the bottom and at the very bottom in very small text there is a link titled: Shiply User Agreement. Click on this then go to: PART B - SUPPLEMENTAL CONDITIONS.
Then go to Part 6 - Fees.
Beware they usually add an additional auction service fee, which you are unaware of until you come to accept the bid. They then add an extra charge for using PayPal (which is higher than any PayPal processing fee I am aware of as a business using PP).
All in all not very transparent. I complained and they refunded these charges.

Re courier to ireland I have now booked with Worldwide Parcel Services.

They offer DHL Air for £25 less than Transglobal Express using DHL Euro.

I couldn't get a DHL Air quote on their site only EuroPlus at £14.99?
  • If I wanted to post smething late on friday for saturday delivery what options do I have?

If I purchased a pre-paid royal mail special delivery, could i say take it to a sorting office after 8pm?

Basically looking to get something out late friday for sat delivery. Or, simply get something posted late friday. (After 8pm)

You could buy a delivery from one of the resellers for someone like City Link. City Link depots are open for you to drop of parcels until 8pm.
If you wanted to be sure it was going to arrive saturday you would need to check with the depot what time they would want it to be there to give them time to handle it at the depot before the trunking vehicle leaves. I.m sure other couriers will be similar so it would be up to you to see what companies depots are in your area then what time they would need you package by.

There are a few - UK Mail and DHL Home for instance. These are available through a few resellers - i would suggest taking a look at www.interparcel.com as an easy reseller with fair prices where you get a comparison

I used Interparcel the 1st time the other day. made a booking with them c/o DHL. Collection 23rd yesterday, no collection:mad:. I emailed them last night about, received a reply today stating it had been rebooked for today.( thats ok the person doesn't know you are collecting today) I phoned them to confirm. Guess what NO collection again:mad:

    Total waste of time imo.
