Hi, I think you'd need to use a "by Air" service and not "by Road" service to get it there in time. Which country are you sending to?
  • I used these to have a parcel delivered containing a light fitting with shades packed separately. The light fitting was snapped, and MyHermes won't accept any responsibility because it was packed with glass lamp shades - even though they were packed totally separately and the package was marked fragile. The lamp shades were broken too - but I didn't intend to claim for these. I'd avoid this company.
  • Ive had some parcels recently from hemes too and one took about 2 weeks to get to me, whilst another two was ripped packaging.. not good

I used tnt via interparcel and item was collected/del in 24hrs (great) and contained glass.. ie the bulbs one was broke.. imo never send glass
none of them insure except i think royal mail.

Hello, I've recent printed approx 25 t-shirts which will be posted to different countries, I've looked around online but there doesn't seem to be very much information regarding a cheap courier which ships seperate parcels surprisly as theres so many t-shirt sellers.

Looking at royal mail it'll be around £3 for standard and £7 for signed for, but they've already lost 3-4 of my parcels before so I'm not sure it's a good thing to stick with them even if they are the "cheapest delivery method for under 5kg"

Each shirts parcels are around 200-250grams packed in a plastic parcel bag and there'll be around 25 parcels, what will be a reliable and cheap-ish way?

    Thanks.

I think Royal Mail we will be the only way to be honest. Not the answer you were after...

I had 2 parcels collected by HDNL today booked through parcel2go. Deliver driver was friendly and helpful. I had to book another much larger and heavier parcel through parcel monkey with City Link. I can't believe the driver claims to have gone to another house in a nearby town. There isn't a road of the same name in the nearby town (although there is a similar named road), the postcode would be different and our house has a name and a number. I am really unhappy. PM have booked again for tomorrow but I booked today because the OH works from home so I wouldn't have to worry about the school run times.I am really cross with city link but I have to say PM rebooked really quickly so no complaints there. The joys of selling on Ebay!
  • HI all, new to the forums but not new to the site, been saving for a while!

I have recently bought a new bed on ebay and need it couriered from luton to scotland. I am looking for a courier to deliver 150kgs of boxes that measure up to 200cms.

From reading on here my best bet is shiply so I will put an add in. Most pallet delivery services are up to 120cms so does anyone have any suggestions which courier to use as i have no experience of sending larger and heavier items. The details of the boxes are below:

    Box dimensions:
    180 x 110 x 25 - 63kg
    200 x 30 x 20 - 17kg
    180 x 140 x 25 - 40kg
    90 x 25 x 25 - 10kg
    120 x 80 x 20 - 19kg

    thanks in advance, allan

You could try www.boxby.co.uk also (same style as Shiply). I think these will be the cheapest option to get them all delivered together.
