DHL emailed me, as a regular customer, on Tuesday morning. They told me no more collections would be made this week. On phoning them, they also told me not to bother bringing my parcels to the depot, which I often do. Their hubs are full, and their computer systems are choked.
Hence parcel2go are probably backed up with queries.
You seem to have a different story from DHL.
I don't use parcel2go, but I believe they have been in the business a long time. To say that MSE should remove them because you are narked is presumptious.0 -

If you look at their Facebook page & the comments there & google them, you'll see that I am not the only one. I would never have posted here at all if I thought I was.0 -
Hi,
I have arranged to ship three 20kg parcels from London to Brussels as I was moving there. The collection was 3 day late, not great especially when you move house. Anyway, someone finally came and picked up my parcels. I have received a collection sheet with a lot of references, however, none of them works with the DHL tracking service.
I booked a DHL Road 2 days service, the parcels were collected 7 days ago and were therefore supposed to arrive by Friday. On Friday, no one came in Brussels and I have been waiting ever since. It is now 3 days late and I am not even able to get a proper tracking number from Parcel Monkey. Their customer service seems to work well, except when you ask for an actual tracking number.
Does someone had the same experience, is someone from ParcelMonkey able to help me on this/sort things out? If I could only get a tracking number to know where my parcels are, that would be a relief.
Thanks!0 -
I want to add to the negative feedback on myHermes - I've used them once and they collected OK but 'lost' the parcel somewhere. I had to chase this up when the parcel wasn't delivered - they didn't bother contact me first. I'm in the process of claiming compensation. I certainly won't be using them again, and couldn't recommend them to anyone else.0

I have now looked at 2 of the services listed by MSE for Europe delivery: worldwide-parcelservices & parcelsplease. Based on current problems with contacting parcel2go, I have now gone with parcelsplease.co.uk as they have a standard telephone number & Laura whom I spoke to was very helpful. She said that DHL Europe were not collecting at the moment  & gave me a good quote for DPD (Interlink). I have now booked them in the hope that they will collect tomorrow (or if I'm really lucky today!). Will report back.0

Have you got a number like JD00 00123456789 ?0 -
Sorry about the laboured analogy with monkeys and typewriters...
My package with parcel monkey failed to be collected yesterday. No mails or messages as to why. I have entered a ticket asking for status etc but no reply so far. Citylink are not answering the phone. So I'm kind of stuck. At least with myHermes it was possible to talk to someone on the phone after a bit of redialling.
Anyone from parcel money want to comment as to what's happening with their delivery companies?
I think the key thing with any parcel company is communication. Perhaps parcel monkey should develop some kind of mass update mechanism whereby it sends emails to groups of customers. e.g. if parcels fail to be collected automatically send a mail saying "we didn't collect your parcel but it's been re-manifested for tomorrow".
Also the ability to send a bulk email where once it's been established what's going on to update customers affected. e.g. "Citylink are snowed under - parcels booked for date X are now likely to be picked up on date Y".
Even some messages on the parcel monkey homepage would not go amiss....0 -
hi all. wondering which one would be the best to use? pref one where i could go drop it off if poss, if not just a safe bet.
I've got two valuable items to send - one £75 the other £150 so don't want anything bad to happen. collect+ seemed nice but no compensation more than £50?0 -
