    Hi,

This may be a silly question, but here goes..... I need to send 2 parcels (to different addresses) in time for Christmas. I've used collectmyparcel before, but think I may try & find somewhere a bit cheaper this time. Can you send 2 different addressed parcels on the same order, eg type in parcel quantity:2, or do you have to do an order for each one as they are not going to the same address?? :o

    Thanks

    Soph x

Hi everyone - after reading this thread 3 weeks ago I decided to use Parcel Monkey to collect and deliver a large standard lamp that I had won on Ebay.

The parcel was collected from the seller at 8am on the specified day and delivered to my house at 10am the day after. It was really easy to book and to send the link to the seller for printing off the labels etc.

:T Huge thanks to all who contribute on the boards as I never would have known who to use if I hadn't read it on here.

Plus, I give a big thumbs up to Parcel Monkey - I emailed them a question before I booked the delivery and they replied within 24 hours which is pretty impressive these days.

I'm really sad to read that they're having problems right now but I had a good experience and I would use them again.

  • Hi Banja,

Please give me your PM order number and I will look into your problem.

The problem is different now, I have received one parcel but the other two are lost. DHL and ParcelMonkey are unable to help me on this. It's been almost two weeks now.

Here is my PM order number: PM_340713_459076

    Thanks for your help!

My mum has used Parcel Monkey many times in the past but after their appalling handling of the dreadful Scottish weather she will never use them again.

She booked a parcel collection from Fintry in Scotland for the first week of December and of course the deluge of snow meant that the collection never happened. That in itself is understandable but she has reprinted labels over and over and nobody has turned up for over 10 days now.

Worse than that, not a SINGLE word of communication from anyone at Parcel Monkey to explain, apologise, offer alternatives or take a cancellation. In the end she braved the weather herself and got it taken by an alternative service yesterday.

So to the Parcel Monkey representative on this board, please explain why your company hasn't even made contact with my mum. Thanks.
  • Hi Owen,

If the labels have been re sent then this means someone has re booked the order following contact via the CRM.

Give me your mum's booking reference no if you want me to look into this further.

Scotland has been a nightmare for all courier companies and many retailers during December and yesterday we made the decision to suspend all collections and deliveries in this country.
Sorry for the problems your mum has faced.

    Hello Parcel Monkey rep,

    Please help.

I had a parcel collected on Friday which is going to Tyne & wear it is at this moment somewhere in the depot in Durham. Problem is its going to a School and is for a reptile that will die if its does not get this package before they break up (Friday 17) .The reptile is also on its way so cant be stopped in transit and if it does not get the special habitat that is in the package it will be an ex reptile!

I have called Durham but they don’t seem to get the fact we are talking about the School losing an expensive animal, all the children they will have to explain it to.

Please if you can help out let me know.:(
  • Hi Stu68,

I will do everything I can to make sure the item reaches the school before it closes on Friday.
While I can't promise anything I will try as I don't want the poor thing to die.

Durham is currently 2 days behind with deliveries so it looks promising even though they have 7,000 items to catch up with.

I am disappointed by the way parcel2go have responded to the bad weather conditions. They were still taking bookings even tho they had no way of getting the parcels picked up ... no one expected the weather to be as bad, but parcel2go have made no effort to keep customers informed of the situation regarding parcel pick up
  • Give http://interparcel.com a try, they have been really good for me. Parcel monkey is sometimes [rarely though] cheaper but whenever I have had a problem with a courier interparcel have sorted it instantly.

Once a courier didn't collect a parcel. I called interparcel towards the end of the day (approx 4:30) 10 minutes later on a different courier collected my parcel.
