Eh?
I send goods with various couriers and have never heard of this.
Can you let me know which carriers will not insure items made from resin.
ThanksAll you need is love (and chocolate)0 -
Just had my 5th failed collection from parcel monkey, have been using them for about a year over the last 2 months it's just been a headache.
I'd really like to know if it's PM's fault or the couriers though. I spoke to the courier and they tell me it's becuase PM did not supply a date for colection - though I think they might just be fobbing me off.
It's irratating as I don't know who's to blame so if I go with another company it might be the same courier and the same problem.

Anyone know a TNT reseller as it's always city link and I think that may be the issue.:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0 -
Hi goldmercury,
I bet you live in Scotland.
If so City Link have had an issue recently with their IT regarding collection dates.
If not then please provide me more details at matt@parcelmonkey.com0 -

I've never noticed that on a courier's website so would be interested to know where you've got that information from. In fact, I've just received a resin sculpture from the USA which was imported via USPS and then delivered by Royal Mail without any problems at all.0 -

That's really interesting, thanks. Though I can't see resin listed in the first link but maybe I am being a bit dim and one of the other categories cover it?
That said, do you know of any courier that accepts resin items and covers them for insurance purposes. I am a bit concerned now how I am going to transport it though there seems to be other sellers selling resin sculptures.0 -
Most couriers will put you under the 'Antiques and art works', which they either will not carry or insure.
£1000 item would be worth doing a man and a van to avoid all the networks.
There are loads of sites if you google man and a van, shiply again can be cheaper if a driver is going that way anyway.0 -
I've got several parcels I want to have collected. Looking on the Parcelmonkey website, I clicked on "add another box" and the "multiple parcels" but after I've entered my collection address and the first recipient's address there doesn't seem to be a place to add more addresses.
What am I doing wrong please?
Or do all the parcels have to go to the same delivery address?

Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations for some way of sending a 3.5kg parcel to the USA, preferably with insurance/proof of delivery, please? Item is only worth about £40 but it's still money I can't afford to lose!
Thanks!0
