While we would like to see a 5 out of 5 rating on the site you mentioned we know it's never going to happen as you do have to take so many online reviews with a pinch of salt these days.
We have a 2.3 out of 5 and the two biggest in terms of volume have a 2.1 and a 1.4 so I guess looking at it that way we are not doing too badly.......LOL
Here's some real feedback: Booked a collection with PM for today & as yet no one has turned up...0 -
You don't seem to have a lot of luck.0

Looking to sell my expensive treadmill on ebay for at least 200 notes and as its highly unlikely that the winning bidder will pick up the treadmill (I live in North Scotland but classed as Mainland UK), i will probably send it by courier....if i can find a cheap one! The cheapest quote i've had so far is 105 notes from myparceldelivery. As far as treadmills go its quite slim and relatively light. It weighs about 52kg and measures 158 x 69 x 33cm. Any ideas which courier to use? I know pallett delivery will be cheaper but due to the length (158cm) it will be awkward fixing it onto a pallett.
Cheers
WOO HOO!!!! Just got a quote of £21.57 for next day delivery by UPS through parcelsplease. Can't believe it's so cheap:rotfl:0 -

The reason Parclesplease are cheap is the CS is appalling. I used them twice and both times a nightmare and they cost me business. A next day delivery that took 10 days. Wouldn't touch them again myself0 -
I have used Parcel Monkey for the first time in this last week for 3 collections on seperate days. The first collection went perfectly citylink even rang me to find out exactly where my house was and collected soon after. I was pleased so booked them again a couple of days later this time picking up from partners work address - they didn't turn up all day and the tracking said they were unable to make the pickup - I called citylink (which cost me 25mins and a bomb) and they said the driver had no address for me only a name and postcode?????? This puzzled me as I had input a full address into parcelmonkey and surely they had my number so why didn't they ring me if it was so hard to find (which it isn't) - They ended up collecting the next day.
50/50 so I decided to give them one more chance - Waited in all day for a collection - guess what they are a no show - I tracked them on the citylink site and guess what I apparantly cancelled the collection at half 1 this afternoon. (LIARS) I did no such thing!!! So when they are going to collect now I don't know - I really hope this isn't going to cost me good feedback on ebay.
So what company shall I try next - Parcel2go?? Any recommendations?0 -
I've used Parcel2go several times with good results except for 1 missed Parcelforce collection. Their DHL service seems rather good, 2 collections were same day within hours of placing the booking. It seems that when you use these agents you have to out up with some nonsense to get the discount prices.0

Despatch Bay (formerly SaleTrack) - see post # 1494 for info & money off code. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
And I forgot to say re. Despatch Bay - I was less than impressed when my initial collection with them was made by a sub contractor white-van-man (actually, boy) who obviously didn't know what he was meant to do, and when I asked whether he was going to scan them, he said he didn't have a scanner, and then asked me whether I wanted him "to leave them then". I phoned the DHL depot to be assured that they would be scanned when they arrived there, so I let them go. Sure enough, all parcels duely tracked and were delivered the next day - even the NI ones - so I was happy despite the shaky start. I've had a "proper" DHL man since then, who says that they are snowed under hence the subs. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
