I have been using senda2b for their parcelforce service for the past three weeks or so. I am so impressed so far. The customer care is the best that I have experienced from a parcel reseller (I have used a few). The email response is within the hour and they always actually try to help rather than fobbing off. Yesterday I had a failed collection (i only found out this afternoon) emailed them, they upgraded the parcel to 24hr service and had parcel force driver had collected before I knew anything about it. I have gone down the route of using the cheapest I can get but will stick with this from now on.

Still waiting for parcel insurance for lost parcel through Parcel2ship who refuse to respond to my emails. Robbers! What is the point in including insurance. Never did get my POD from parcelmonkey for the parcel authorised by them or citylink to be left in a garage without a signature. Did get my refunds for three failed collections from parcel monkey though.

Why not book it direct with parcelforce and save yourself some money
http://www.senditnow.com/index.epl (parcelforce owned website not a reseller)

Parcelforce 48hr £10.50 with no vat(as parcelforce dont charge Vat)
Parcelforce 24hr £11.99 with no vat(as parcelforce dont charge Vat)

    senda2b
    Parcelforce 48hr £12.91 inc vat
    Parcelforce 24hr £14.09 inc vat

Well both are 10.99 for 48hr and £11.99 24hr (I claim VAT back so makes no difference what the vat inc price is). I trieds senditnow and unfortunately my printer ran out of ink as printing (I now have no receipt or label and it seems there is no way of me getting one as it is not saved in an account as such like the others). I hoping the driver will bring one too???

Also had to input my card details due to no paypal facility which is time consuming.

Thanks for the info but will stick with the other in future.

In a couple of weeks I'll need to send a 5KG parcel from Sydney, Australia back to the UK. Does anyone know of some equivalent to parcelmonkey or something like that in Australia?

    Cheers

collectmyparcel.com do imports, instant quote and book via their website. Why are imports so much more expensive than exports? Does anyone know?

And digging this up from the depths...

...to ask a question of the ParcelMonkey rep: why have you introduced a 14p charge for insurance cover up to £50, and do you know that that now means that several of your competitors now offer delivery in the £20-£50 value range that is less expensive than your CityLink service?

    Hi

Looking to sell my expensive treadmill on ebay for at least 200 notes and as its highly unlikely that the winning bidder will pick up the treadmill (I live in North Scotland but classed as Mainland UK), i will probably send it by courier....if i can find a cheap one! The cheapest quote i've had so far is 105 notes from myparceldelivery. As far as treadmills go its quite slim and relatively light. It weighs about 52kg and measures 158 x 69 x 33cm. Any ideas which courier to use? I know pallett delivery will be cheaper but due to the length (158cm) it will be awkward fixing it onto a pallett.

    Cheers :)

Strapped - they haven't "introduced" a charge. If you take the £50 insurance it is the same price as it used to be, but cheaper if you don't need that much.

Next day delivery and £50 cover used to be £6.87 now its only £20 cover.
