Cheap Parcel Delivery Official Discussion

Crantinope,
The email you sent me the other day has been passed on yet again for the refund you are owed to be paid.
I stand by my comment that the problems you have faced for a simple refund are not good enough and I will speak with my MD at length tomorrow to arrange a compensation payment also.
Once again sorry for the poor level of service you have faced.
It is a shame it came to this. Thanks anyway.

Congrats on the refund!0

I didn't have a lot of time to send my niece her 1st birthday present and was worried about having to look across different websites for quotes.
My friend came to my rescue and suggested this site http://www.myparceldelivery.com
The couriers I found offered some pretty good deals for next day delivery.
Best of luck!
P.S. My niece got her present on time! :j
These are the new kids on the block without any knowledge of the industry, good looking website but the prices aren't so hot. Maybe reselling Parcel2Go services? They're only booking a few hundred a month at the moment whereas the rest book a thousand plus a day.0 -
I would just like to add, having checked my refund of £7.04 from ParcelMonkey, they have seen fit to issue me with a new payment rather than refunding the original payment.
Upshot is, I have received a NET amount of £6.60:mad: after fees.
Now this might not seem like a big deal, but this is a REFUND for a service not given, therefore I would like to receive my outlay back.
Come on, this is just amatuer stuff.
Parcel Monkey Rep, please agree to me refunding this to you, and then refund MY ORIGINAL transaction.
I really would like to know if I am being a PITA over this, or whether this really is just common sense????
I presume the compensation award mooted is a separate entity.
Cheers...Nick0 -
Due to the very nature of our rapid month on month growth we have become victims of our own success in our customer care at times but fully understand the need to address this if we wish for our business to continue with it's strong
Did you get that excuse from Here?:rotfl::T0 -

You're absolutely right! Not only do you want the full amount of the money you paid but if PM refund the original transaction they don't have to pay the original PayPal fee also. So better for them to reverse the original rather than send new. How odd....0 -
Has anyone used them recently to ship to Europe? They seem to have very good prices but when I tried to fill the basic details in it kept telling me that the postcode format is incorrect. It doesn't ask which country you want to ship to either which is weird so if anyone knows how to actually make a booking then I'd be interested. It does appear to be at best amateurish though....0

They've had some bad reviews on this site - have a search back through the forums. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
crantinope,
Please don't think for one minute that you are a PITA to me as from where I am sitting it is us being a pain to you.
I spoke in detail with our MD over your issue on Tuesday and it was agreed to pay you your refund + £50 compensation = £57.04
I have an email from our claims department stating this would be paid so I am at a loss as to why you have only got £6.60?
I can assure you that £57.04 will be paid to your paypal account even if I have to do it from mine!!
An update will be sent to your email address later today by me and sorry for this ongoing saga over a simple refund.0 -
the compensation may be £50 however pm cancelled, so the OP should get what the item was worth
After all, it was not lost was it? and citylink failed to provide a signature0
