I am a O2 broadband customer and my contract finished 2 months ago, called up customer service and told them I wanted to switch to Be Broadband as they had a better deal recently. After I told them I wanted to switch they trasfered me over to their Customer retention team and he offered to reduce me current bill by £2.50 per month. Before I was paying : £7.33 (o2 mobile customer). It saved me the hassle of switching to Be and getting cashback etc.
Its worth checking out for existing O2 customers.

I think I'll give O2 a ring, you never know, they might actually pay me for having it!0

Lewt, how did u manage to bag that? 12 months for free?0

I cant beat "free" but topcashback.com are offering £50 cashback to sign up for any o2 broadband. As an o2 customer you get it for £7.24per month for a 10 month contract as you get the 1st 2 months free. So if you work this out over 12 months with the cashback it works ot as only £1.86 per month!!!!0

We have been with 02 broadband for 18 months now, and in light of the free 3 months offer for newbies I phoned up and asked for a better deal.
I now get up to 20mb broadband (running at 14.7mb at the moment), for £7.50 ish a month.
They will ask you to sign up to another 12 month contract (Which im happy to do) and they will then either give you 3 months free or £2.50 a month off your bill forever....I chose the latter.
So give them a ring and get it cut.....also dont forget if your an 02 phone customer you are also entitled to reductions also.0 -
Anybody done this?!0

Just phoned and asked if there was anything that O2 could offer, to a customer just out of contract, new to the LLU service, after nearly all of the last 12 months on Access, and was told that there was no offers for existing customers, not even ones that require a new 12 month contract, as i did ask about that as well.0
