I have been using Quidco for over 2 years and have made several hundred pounds from buying things I would have bought anyway. I have had 1 or 2 minor quibbles eg when I bought my husband's car insurance from Yes it said I should get £55 but it was reduced to £50 a few days later. Quidco only paid me £50 so I told them that it had said £55 when I bought the insurance and they paid me the extra £5 a few weeks later. My son's car insurance from MoreThan took an age to come through but we got it in the end. Quidco have always been quite quick in answering any queries I have had and a couple of transactions haven't tracked so I have had to submit an 'earnings enquiry'. But I think I have received all the payments which I was entitled to in the end. I have used other cashback sites on the rare occasions when the sellers were not listed on Quidco, but I normally find that other sites either pay the same or very often less. Quidco have now started sending out emails to let people know when their purchase has tracked, so that is very useful. I also think the Quidco website looks much better than most of the other cashback sites. So, all in all, I am very happy with them.

I have had several problems with Quidco and none have been resolved. I queried why I had not received the cashback and was just told that the merchant had decided not to pay out and I had no chance of appealing against the decision.

One offer was for Jackpotjoy. If I purchased £10 of credit I would get £25 cashback. I followed all the rules and terms and conditions but no £25 has been credited. I feel slightly miffed that I wasted £10 on a betting site I would never usually use!

An offer I saw on MSE for £60 cashback on an iPhone from mobiles.co.uk. It took 3 support tickets to be raised with Quidco to get the full £60 back, and even then I had to wait over 60 days to get it.

When i started using quidco 2 years ago they were great with paying cashback on time, however recently during the past year most of my cashback were delayed.

My payments were showing as going to be paid e.g August 2009 but when the end of the month came they changed the status:mad: This went on for a couple of moths.

Quidco is good but they still need to improve

They used to be good, but reliability and customer service have gone down the pan. Too often the big ticket cashback items are not paid, and any attempts to try to chase this up are met with resistance and hostility.

Yeah I've had issues lately where it would say £10 cashback for x merchant and then when it tracks it only says £5. Or £20 for x merchant and only tracks at £10 or £15. I thought it was just me!

When I've queried it, I just get a 'declined'.

So I am really becoming suspicious of quidco now.

The customer service does appear to have dipped slightly over the last 18 months or so.

I've had the majority of my cashbacks paid. I've put in tickets for some untracked items and they have since been resolved to my satisfaction, so generally, I'm happy with Quidco.

On saying that, the cashback is for very small amounts, I've not purchased from insurance companies who appear to be the 'high risk' ones where cashback isn't going to come through.
Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.

News Of The World/Captian Cash cashback site pays you cashback as soon as its been tracked (min amount to withdraw and only pay out once a month). No waiting for it to clear or be validated. But they only pay out about 1/4 of what all the other cashback websites pay.
I mostly use topcashback as they seem the best.
  • I was initially a little sceptical but was pleasantly surprised after receiving both lots of cash back for two car insurance policies from LV=.
I took Quidco's advice about using a different browser purely for purchases through Quidco. Despite this, a few purchases have not been tracked, even on second transactions with a company where the first went through smoothly.
I am more hopeful now because I have noticed that Quidco have started sending tracking confirmation emails.
Overall I have to say that I am pleased so far.
