Thanks Tharweb and Searcher2 but I'll have to organise an aerial first (now I know I need one:D).

I'd better make sure I get my desktop first too:rotfl:

My 3.4ghz has finally pitched up today. Might have a moan about the 4 day delivery time. Haven't got it out the box yet but checked the service tag online. Showing CAR from 08/12/2005 - 07/12/2006. So just over 6 months left! Initial next day busineess and CFI with complete care is 08/12/2005 - 07/12/2008. Obviously the next day superceeds the CAR.
Has anyone confirmed that these warranties are valid with us the owners or are they non transferable? They are obviously unwanted items ordered by a-another. Just want to make sure before i do to much to it.

Real shame about the card reader but not sure theres much of an argument to be had. Not sure about the graphics card. Need some confirmation about the ram on board, but what is the advertised "256mb v ram" anyway? Is it Virtual ram? Might be worth some discusion here to create a case for discount.

Wahey! Mine just arrived, complete with a copy of Works Suite 2005 and without second CD or memory card reader! I'm at work so can't plug it in but have checked the online warranty and it has a three year warranty which began in November 2005!! This has been sat in a warehouse for six months so be interesting to see if it powers up.
On the plus side it is a 5150 and has a 16x DVD/RW drive and an X600 graphics card, but I'll have to get it home to see what type it is.

As a point of interest - does anyone who has received one of these know if the copy of Windows has already been registered to another user, or is it an unregistered copy??

Dell monitors should use a standard "kettle lead" connector which can be taken from any other piece of IT kit.

Well on my 3.4ghz £329 one now. Two bonus items in the box. Works suite 2005 and Norton security centre paid up for 3 years from today! It's so very quiet in comparison to my old workhorse. The dvd-rw also does dual layer discs. All round very pleased.

Im gonna complain about the graphics card as it is clearly only 128mb onboard the card. I'm going to replace it but might try for some money off.
Back to the "features include" it doesn't state things that are included such as sound, network port. Don't know if that is relevent in trying to make the case for the missing bits in the picture.
You could argue that the picture shows the item you are purchasing, it is not for illustration. Maybe worth checking the BT shop small print.

I have sent an email to BT expressing my disappointment that after waiting four days for delivery they have sent me the wrong PC. Mine only has an X600 Hypermemory graphics card which doesn't have 256MB of memory at all. I await their response with baited breath!
On the plus side the Works 2005 Suite is a nice bonus, but I will be uninstalling it anyway as I use Office 2003 so will probably pass it on to one of the nieces.
