No, but the specification used the phrase "Features include:" rather than stating that was EVERYTHING you would get.
I haven't got my machine yet (surprise surprise) but if there isn't a second CD drive and a memory card reader I am going to be complaining, plus I want my postage back because I paid £20 for 2-3 delivery and today is the 4th business day and I still haven't got anything, despite 2 phone calls.

You know there won't be a card reader and second CD drive so you may as well cancel your order now and save the stress!! I am sure there are plenty of people who would love to have the machine for £329 + delivery without these unspecified add-ons but with an unspecified 3 year (almost) next business day service support.

Just called BT (ever such nice young ladies in Northern Ireland) and they have no idea what the hell is going on. Don't suppose anyone has a Dimension 5150 sitting in their hall that they didn't order, have they?

I will believe the warranty when I see it. It's not necessarily the case that all of these machines have the same warranty - certainly the laptop had only about 9 months warranty on it. And if these came in more than one batch, as appears to be the case since they came in and out of stock, there may be different warranties for different batches. Besides, BT shouldn't advertise to sell things in a misleading way.

As well as the deficiency of the card reader and the second optical drive there is the issue of Microsoft "Works Suite" versus Microsoft "Works".

And this item is in the "written description" of the BT offering, not just the image provided by BT as are the card reader and the second optical drive issues.

Dell typically supply "Works".

On Ebuyer "Works OEM" sells for £5 whereaa "Works Suite OEM" sells for £35.

As they should! Presumably a pair of the Dell A415s which they are selling at £4.99? Not a bad set - my son has them on his PC and they are pretty good.

I'll be going to Scan soon so could possibly save you most of the £10 + vat delivery if you wanted me to order one and send it on (not sure how much it would cost to post)
