Oh gill, I'm so sorry about the neighbour's son, and your mum being so upset - and your work! My god, the bad stuff has been pouring down on top of you! Its not surprising you can't sleep with all of that having happened/been heard about in the last 24 hours.... be careful today, physically and with numbers and stuff - when you're sleepless and preoccupied like that, thats when you forget your normal care - I do anyway, I'm speaking from experience there :(

Hope it isn't too bad - but do eat something too :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

    Morning

I know KC it's difficult when there's lots going on, but its nothing like as bad as some people have. Some people have gone through all sorts, this is minor by comparison. I'm just used to being able to get to Mum quickly, and used to being salaried, so money is always going to be a problem.

Another busy day ahead, but things may be starting to sort themselves out on the money front. Need to sit down at the weekend with spreadsheets and work out where I'll be when I put money back into the tax saver account (I've had to use it to live on)

DS wants to get the tree this weekend. I've told him that the house had to be blitzed first so maybe he will do it for me!

    Have a good day.

Well, the house is sort of tidy, but still needs a bit of work. DS had to go into work on Tuesday and Wednesday, so he never got the chance to do a tidy. Good news is that he's off Friday and Saturday now so will be able to help out.

Was invited to go to the pub with some colleagues last night, which made a nice change, although I only have 'work' stuff with me, so had to dive to Mr A to get some jazzy jewelery to brighten up a plain grey top. Have also been invited to go for tea one night (obviously after Christmas now)

Spends have been quite low this week, mainly because I didn't go out. Am going to sort through the bits and bobs of presents and see what I still have to get. Hopefully not much. I've collected a present for DS from the shop (ordered on t'internet, through quidco), my new Christmas top and leggings (Tatco exchange e-vouchers - so free) have arrived, and I need to go and pick up the other stuff that's collect from store.

I still don't feel 'Christmassey' though.

It's no surprise you don't feel xmassy - 2 jobs everything going on with your family, staying in a hotel etc! When do you break up for xmas and how long do you have off?

    Hi SH

not sure about Christmas yet, as the contract here expires next week, don't know if its being renewed, but as they haven't filled any of the posts yet, it may still get renewed. In fact the posts haven't been advertised yet.

I won't be driving to Shropshire though between Christmas and New Year :D

On another note, my hair really needs cutting, but I CBA, so I bought some clips and stuff to put it up. Why is it that most 'hair up' stuff is aimed at 9 yr olds?

Payday today, so off to shift some money around.

  • Hi

DT - I resisted the Hello Kitty, but I do have pink sparkly stars :D

I don't know whether I want the contract renewed. Could do with a break, BUT, I stand more of a chance with the permanent jobs if I am already here. These are the people who mucked me around last time, which resulted in me going to Shropshire, so just finishing of stuff here. The money comes in handy though.

Just not sure which way to go really.
