I still haven't got the hang of printing labels - maybe I should make that my web task for next year - it would certainly help.

There are still no trains by you? Yikes ... everything's carried on thawing round here, the piles of snow from where pavements were cleared are still there, but most of the rest is gone - I can't tell if there's black ice or not yet, but I really hope not.

I would like a medal please.

I'm sure all you internet peeps can see the halo from wherever you are, but I have cleaned the oven. Thats the invisible thing on the list.

Its not so much the cleaning the oven I have an issue with, its the rubber gloves, they make me feel sick.

So haven't done much else today, pasted the gunk on yesterday and put the shelves in a bin bag with bio washing powder, and finished it off today.

Am now having a well deserved cup of coffee and a cake.

:A:A:A Is that the one? I can see it from here! Congratulations on a job well done :T

The oven in our new house has a button with "Clean" on it - but I've yet to try it out. Some bedtime reading of the manual perhaps...

    Enjoy the tea and cake!

Yep, I can see the gleam of the halo from 300 miles away :) Ug to cleaning ovens - I've only ever done it about twice :rotfl: and one of them was earlier this year, in preparation for moving, and I frightened myself to death with the warnings on the tin  they're horrible!!!

Anyway, I hope you've remained in Buddha pose, since you're obviously about to ascend immediately to sainthood

Coffee and cake .... ooh, I must put the compost in the bin before it goes dark, and then I have my coffee too! Thanks for reminding me!

I really should do it more often, my oven is 'so-called' *self clean* - but I've no idea what that means. But the rubber gloves really make me feel ill.

Problem is, I don't want to use it it's so clean.:rotfl:

I have chilled for the rest of the afternoon, caught up on some telly and am now watching Apollo 13. There's still ironing to do so I'm not that good. And there is a freezing fog outside, so glad I don't have to go out.

What is it with the rubber gloves, are you actually allergic to them?

Apollo 13! Love that movie. At the moment I'm downloading Have I Got A Bit More News For You :)

The feel of rubber gloves just makes me feel sick, not allergic although they make my hands itch a bit, so just have to grin and bear it.

Apollo 13 - DS laughs at me watching it - 2 reasons - 1)why watch it on telly, with advert breaks, when I've got it on DVD, and 2), I cry every time when they are coming in to land and, as he says, I watched the actual event on telly. It's not like I don't know whats going to happen. It was different in black and white!

HIGNFY - I like to watch the Thursday edition and then the 'more' one, and try to work out why they skipped stuff.

Good morning, yawn .... I know that feeling. I've just been fitting the batteries to an LED light for under the eye level kitchen cabinets. Hey ho. Hope the drive goes well.
