Getting out of my comfort zone

Excellent! Safety, a fire in the grate, a cuppa tea in the hand, bargains in the shops and money paid off debt - what could be better
I really want to try to get out today - just to Sainsbury's would be nice (its kind of isolated from all the other shops, but its big, it will be warm, and it has a cafe). The snow is glistening, which I think means its icy, tho my icicles hanging from the guttering looked like they were melting half an hour ago .... thats stopped, I think its got cold again ....
Hope the old job goes well today - thats still a fair bit of travelling, isn't it?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I want to be warm and dry again. I'm sick of coming in feeling cold and damp.:sad:I know we don't have it too bad, even here in the north west, we've hardly had any snow, but i'm bored now.
I may do a bit of shopping this weekend. Have just cooked a cheese omelette, had forgotten how comforting that feels.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Exactly - its incredibly boring!
Cheese omelette - I may have to go out shopping again tomorrow to buy some hard goats cheese so I can make a cheese omelette.... I wish I lived next door to my brother, he makes brilliant omelettes...
Are you warm and dry yet?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi KC
got dry but warm took a while, in fact went to bed to stay warm. Then woke up early hours to listen to cricket on the radio.
Am now warmish. Debating whether to leave the heating on low.
I'm not doing a list today, will do the TADA list thing after I've done stuff. The main reason is that there is an invisible item on my list, I never actually write it down, but I *know* I need to do it and I've been avoiding it. It's still not going on a list , but I may do it today.
One thing I will do though is get the Christmas stuff down and check the lights, while there are still some in the shops.
Breadmaker is on, off to fill washing machine.
Catch up later.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Once you do those things that are hanging over you, it feels *so* much better, doesn't it?
I've been leaving the heat on low for the past three nights - we had freezing fog here last night, but surprisingly a lot of the snow has melted - my garden table no longer resembles a pom pom!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning Gill, hope you've thawed out now.
I might get my decs out today to check the lights. We always get a real tree - DH gets the biggest one he can find (even when we lived in tiny houses :rotfl:) but I think we'll get it next week.
KC the snow has started to melt here too - but we're forecast for it to snow all day today....:o
Have a good day0 -
Real tree for me too I love them we will get ours next weekend thanks to the summer sort out of the attic I know exactly where all the Christmas decorations are.
Gill get the invisible item done you will feel so much better afterwards and I always find the thinking about it is always worse than the actual doing

BTW what's the TADA list? Or am I being really dense?0

When you finish your list of jobs open your arms wide as if on stage and go Tada :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
or just post a list of today's jobs if you don't want someone to lock you up
