I'm glad it went okay - your poor mum, tho, I understand not going to the grave - I've only been to one funeral where there was a grave, the rest have all been cremations....

And you're going out tonight? Brrrrrrrrrr, is all I can say to that!

This was even worse as she was being buried with her late husband. Family is very traditional in many ways.

Should go out to eat, but I have cup a soup and cheese and crackers, oh yes and chocolate....decisions, decisions.

Oh good heavens. Words fail me, actually. And, you think when its sunny for a funeral, its wrong somehow, but this bitter weather right now is even worse. As long as you've got lots of calories in the chocolate (i.e. enough chocolate !) I'd stay in if I was you. Brrrrrrrr.

  • Morning, awake at silly o clock, too cold to get back to sleep.

Have checked banking and still haven't been paid into business account. Have raised a log on the agency website as the terms are 28 days, and its well over that now. My contract is with the agency, so should still get paid even if they haven't been paid yet. Otherwise it could start getting a bit grim around here. Of course if they process them all at once, it will be good, can put money back in savings faster.

Its snowed here in shropshire overnight, looks pretty enough from hotel window, so actually it feels warmer than yesterday, its just that the hotel heating isn't on yet.

Lots and lots of chocolate, and hot choc too. Also found a bag of seaweed crackers, so definitely 'upped' the calorie intake.

I hope that heating came on soon after your first post! I put mine on straight away, but once it got light I had to ventilate the house (as I do every day, I like to do that with clients coming in and whatnot) so it got cold again :D warmed up nicely now, except my tootsies are cold, so I'm to :j a bit.

Been for a trundle round the diaries, everyone is in the same sort of mode, not much getting done, just a waiting game.

Silly computer did the thing it does occasionally when it resets itself so I lose all my settings. So annoying, especially at 5 am when no one is at their brightest. Annoying as DS had shown me some games he would like for chrimbo and I'd saved the cheapest page as a favourite and its now gone, so will have to ask him again.

So glad to have money in the bank again. No great plans to spend it, just glad that the process has now kicked in, so hopefully should get paid regularly from now on.

Have a good, safe day all.

    I'm going home tonight :T
