    Drum roll please....

    ...TADA

I've started on the 'invisible' item - have to finish it now.
    Washing
    Kitchen and Bathroom
    Some ironing
    Shopping, including Mum's shopping
Been to sisters, dropped off carpet cleaner and picked up bag of rock salt
    Took nephew to choir rehearsal.
    Went to Mum's with shopping
    More ironing
    Made soup
Slow cooker on with cheap chilli

I also went online at Tesco and found a load of unused vouchers, so had £25 worth which I have converted to £50 of e-vouchers so will order some presents with them later. So quite proud of myself, thanks DT for the idea.

Do you still want a small fridge??? Just I occasionally work in the local hospice shop and there was one in there this morning. I have brought it home to test it to see if it chills. The door hinge is a little 'broken' but the seal seems OK. If you don't its not a problem as I can just take it back. It's on sale for £7 but I will get staff discount and they may reduce further because of the bust hinge.

Let me know anyway ... I have rellies in Widnes and Liverpool and will be visting them before Christmas

That would be really brilliant, if it works. I don't need to keep things cold for long. But tbh this week, the bottle of water in the car boot froze up.
DS did have a tiny one, ( enough for a couple of cans, but has no idea where he's put it.

No probs - I'll test it and let you know :j

I'll get you the size as well, but I happily carried it back to the car so it is a cube about the size of an old portable TV. It is still in the car at the moment and I will brave the rain (??) later to get it.

It took me ages to work it out, was trying to get the letters to spell something. It feels more positive to put what you've done, rather than a list that you may not finish, but do other things instead. I think I first saw it on cherisongs thread, but no idea where it came from.

I've done some online ordering and think I've managed to get the most out of things.

I got the e-voucher codes from tesco, it said 48 hours but took less than 5 minutes.

Went on tesco through quidco, ordered some stuff for collection at local store, used codes for most. Not sure how it works if you go through quidco and don't actually use money but that's what I did.
Also went on play.com (via quidco)and pre-ordered DVD for DS and a game he wants. That may well be it for him. It's hard to buy for someone who has more disposable income than I do :)

So reasonably cash neutral if I get the cashback from Tesco.

So need to take stock and work out who I still need to buy for. Going for finish the cards tonight and play with christmas lights.

Read this and the colour drained from my face. I've just placed a big order which included DH's 40th pressie for January and forgot Quidco _pale_
Luckily though, the site's not on there - phew!

Good work on the cash neutral - you really are good at that :T
The thoughts of writing cards fills me with dread - think I'd rather iron!

I have to remind myself too. Fortunately I don't often shop online, but should do it more often. Every little bit counts. And I've only recently got the hang of Tesco vouchers. I used to just spend them in the shop.

Well I cheat a bit, because they are already home made, I have an insert for them which I print so just have to sign them. And the addresses are on my PC so I print the labels out.

Have just had to go and pick DS up from work as there are no trains and the side roads are like an ice rink because it rained last night and has now frozen over. Hopefully it will melt soon.
