Getting out of my comfort zone

Food shopping done, keep thinking I've forgotten something, as only spent £14 in Asda, and around a tenner between Wilko's, farmfoods and pound shop.
House is reasonably tidy, could be better, but CBA.
Still have to get shoes healed, but wondering if its worth it, its the third time I've had them healed and they only cost £12 to start with.
So I still have a tenner left out of my 'absolute minimum' budget, and £25 out of my 'if you really have to spend it' budget, so think its going ok at the moment.
Need to get washing in as its about to chuck it down.

Hope you have a good time with DT!
I hope she did too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and that it was worth getting stuck in traffic for!
Back home and it is raining again so fireworks are postponed yet again :mad:
Well I had a nice time and thankfully Gill rescued me before I did too much damage shopping wise just one lipstick to replace two that my little foster child destroyed and a fleece which I desperately needed as it was a bit chilly and I have no coat. But the two things came to 12.49 so not too shabby
We had a long chat and put the world to rights she is just as I expected and very lovely.:A

Definitely worth getting stuck in traffic for. I allowed extra time knowing there were road works, but got stuck for over an hour on Runcorn Bridge, my claim to fame now is that Beth Tweddle (the gymnast) was in the same traffic jam. :rotfl:DT had already hit the shops when I got there, but was rescued from the likes of Past Times and Whittard, definite browsing territory
Had a lovely time, and would quote DT word for word, she was just as I expected and absolutely lovely.
DS is now working 2 extra night shifts so is working while I'm away, so the house should stay as I leave it. So will do some hoovering tomorrow but that's about it other than cooking.
Have done my share of hospital trips now. Mum isn't going tomorrow, so if auntie is still in hospital, sister can take a turn.
Chilli smells gorgeous, so have taken some rice out of freezer and poured myself half a glass of wine.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

MGs event is next week - our meet was in a certain retail outlet park just outside Chester :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:well actually it was in a certain coffee shop with a name beginning with a twinkling light and ending in money

Afternoon people
Have had a really relaxed day up to now. Have washing drying on the line, hoovered around a bit, and folded the ironing. Maybe one day I'll finish it all off.:o Catching up on i-player, while colouring in some Christmas stamps. May be ideal thing to do sat in hotel room.
Love the description of coffee outlet DT.
Macgirl, I'm not going to Leeds, can't justify it really, but sure we'll find out about it.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
