Getting out of my comfort zone

I'm sure I posted something, but as this laptop has a tendency to go backwards, anything is possible.
Have been looking at my gym membership. I suspended it because I was out of work, then went for a while, then suspended it again because it was too far out of the way. Because its an express gym, with no coffee lounge or pool etc. you can't transfer the membership, so thinking will cancel and start again. Would be a good use of my time to go to the gym rather than hanging round hotel etc.
No point ringing now, but will check it out tomorrow. another thing to add to list.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

With being away from home, you've certainly got the time - and that would be a really productive use of it. Hope you can find one that suits.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi,
I've just read your diary from start to finish!(didn't realise you are a fellow scouser!!!) I must say I am so impressed on how you have turned things around over the last 12 months. Am I right in saying that today is the first day in your new job? If so Good Luck and I hope you have a nice day!

Hi BP
yes, its been a strange year, from nothing to being in effect self employed.
Today was first day in new job, as with most of these things the first day is really difficult, mostly induction stuff and trying to remember names. They really expect me to hit the ground running, but until I talk to people its difficult. Plus, all the people I need to speak to will think I am trying to get rid of their job, as that is the general view of what a business consultant does.
Am sat in hotel now, really tired as was up at 5 this morning, and forcing myself to stay awake. DS has already rung twice to make sure I'm okay. Bless!Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Glad your first day is over and enjoy the hotel bless your DS that's so sweet.
Are we still on for a coffee on Saturday? I might fit in a trip to IKEA as well as my little girl needs a (pink:rotfl:) wardrobe.

Hi DT,
was just about to send you a pm. Yes still on for Saturday, can't think of where to go though, other than the place you are going to - apparently there's a coffee shop there.
IKEA? Lucky if you can get away with just a wardrobe - not sure about the pink though, unless you can upcycle one - you need to speak to MG or macgirl about this up cycling stuff.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Ooh, more people who're meeting up! Hope you both have a lovely time.
And gill, sounds like you've got your hands full there - but I'm sure your experience will tell and you'll come through flying. Is the hotel nice?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Once I work out who is who, it will be all right. It's stuff I've done before, but usually the people already know me, here its the fear that comes with an outsider.
Hotel is a little one, not a big chain. Husband and wife effort, so comfortable; they sit in the lounge and chat to people, seem really friendly. Not that I'm spending any time in the bar.
I've packed loads of the little sample packs that I've accumulated; some thanks to the freebies board, others that they chuck into your bag in Boots. So am doing the full cleanse/tone/moisturise bit. Never bother at home.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
