2 things this morning, need to get my act together as have arranged to see the boss boss, about where I fit in for the next few weeks. I've got plenty of work, but none of it related to the project I'm meant to be doing, I just want to make it clear that the Project Manager hasn't actually assigned me any tasks, and that I know certain things aren't being done which I could be getting on with.
Secondly, 2 of DS fish have disappeared overnight. I can't see them anywhere. Why do I feel guilty?Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Deffo, that work situation sounds like you need to cover your back if you know the situation isn't right .... fish ... erm, unless you hoicked them out and flushed them, don't feel guilty!!! They eat each other, don't they? Or do you have those little castles, and they're hiding in one of them?

Yep, as it's DS fish tank and he's a big kid, there are sunken ships and the like, but they are already occupied by the existing fish! These were some of the new ones, so I suspect they have died overnight and been brekkie for the others.
I hate office back covering but felt I had to as it has been mentioned about the way the Project Manager is handling things, and as he is paid on results I don't want him blaming me if it all goes wrong. Glad I did, as boss made it clear they don't want to lose me, and it was mentioned that there are some permanent posts coming up that "you might want to look into". He has told me to just look into the things I know are an issue, as I have identified them.
So all in all, probably a good day. Only spent money on car park, bumped into an ex colleague in Reception so have arrange to go for lunch next week, and have got information about holidays for next year.
So am going to read some diaries and then look at my brochures and see if I can manage a break somewhere.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

When you get invited to apply for permanent posts - thats **good**, I'm really pleased for you! And ooh, looking at holiday brochures sounds lovely. I'll be doing that next year!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

What happened to the weather??
Decided to start doing some more walking, so woke up at 3 to torrential rain! Apparently there were meant to be solar flares last night, but maybe the cloud cover was too much.
Have done online banking and surveys.
Keep coming to a halt with blitzing the house as I get to things I need help with so doing it the other way round. Have made DS a list of the things he can do for me, and then when he's finished will make a start.
so, for example, have taken all the books off the bookcase, now need him to
clear the cupboard under stairs
open up space under stairs
move HUGE speakers from back room to under stairs
move book case to space vacated by speakers.

I didn't realise about the solar flares - typical, we had rain too - can't see them through proper rainclouds
You're right about the "lugging around" jobs needing to be done before you can declutter. I've got some big item ebay sales being collected in the next few days, and that will help me a lot.
What is it you're doing with the under stairs space, opening it up?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yes, its been built in, so tends to get things chucked in there which get forgotten about. Will close some off, and put DJ equipment etc. and then use the rest properly.
Today I called into the library next to the office, asked if you had to live in Cheshire and was told 'no' but then when she put my postcode in it kept coming up as invalid, but she put it in manually. I can take out up to 20 items :rotfl:how would I get them home?
Have been stuck on Runcorn Bridge for an hour, so not too happy, should have got an audio book could have listened to it instead of getting angry at Housing Minister on Radio 4. Have come back to a madhouse as DS started doing some of the jobs and then got distracted. As I can't get to the kitchen he'll have to clear it or he won't get fed.
Doing quite well with quidco on spending in shops that I get cashback on, so will have another £12 soon to go off Egg.
Still no spending.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Thats a good day, except for the lack of audio books
with that length of time in the car that regularly, you *have* to use the time in the car for something else. Good luck with it - and I hope *you* got some food as well!

Well I know have a yard full of carp - why were we keeping the side panels from an old computer desk, but no bolts and no top? DS managed to get to the very back of the cupboard under stairs, ie. the bit nearest the bottom stair, and has found the motor for the sewing machine.so thats almost cleared and can be used for storing the stuff that needs to be kept handy but is bulky, like his speakers etc. He also found a pair of flight cases which don't fit his decks, so they are going on ebay next free listing day.
Have also done 2 half hour ironing stints, and taken the clothes upstairs.
Probably need to list the various jobs or will get back into randomly doing stuff and not seeing anything for the effort.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
