Part of it is that this job is well within my capabilities, but that is reflected in the wages. For now, it suits me to just turn up, do the job, and then go home.
Then that is a significant leap in the right direction :T Really good to hear, as in most cases less money is definitely worth no stress.
Enjoy the cake, it sounds like it's well deserved!0 -

..not sure you want to know. It's M&S Easter chocolate nest egg, and judging by the taste its got thousands of calories in each slice and is just pure fat!
But it was nice - still loads leftDebts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

It's been so nice over the weekend, managed to get washing dried outside and got to play with my little plastic greenhouse thingy.
So have tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, spring onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, various peppers, aubergine all either in pots or greenhouse. Trying to find best place for some strawberries.
Got a mega paypacket last week, I think it was because of tax code as had a minus deduction on payslip which meant I ended up keeping ALL my pay. But quite proud of myself as I drew out the same as normal. Did spend extra but it was on stuff for DS birthday which is accounted for elsewhere. And also bought some wine on 3 for tenner. For now will leave money in account, see if pay regulates itself so I can work things out.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Have just realised i'm not being very adventurous with the cooking these days, mainly because of DS working nights, and we pass each other in the street
- tonight I have had my favourite tea - egg on toast!
Have taken some chicken out of freezer for tomorrow, may do fajitas. Still ploughing through the cake.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hi Gill - Great news regarding the wages - makes it all worthwhile
I played with my plastic greenhouse too last week! I sowed seeds with the kids - but not the fab variety you have :T We only did toms, sweet peas and lobelia.
As for unadventurous meals - a cheese sandwich is my very favourite dinner of choice
(Can't believe you still have the cake - that would be long gone in my house!)0 -
Mac - just signed up for the free trial of nutracheck, but it won't work with my little laptop. Can't search the box for foods,it keeps erroring with a java error. Bit annoying, but at least glad I haven't paid for it. It looks really good, may try it on DS laptop.
Have had chicken fajitas for tea, lots and lots of salad and beans.
DS has just walked upstairs with a HUGE slice of cake. I only eat tiny slices, didn't dare look at the fat content.
Have you tried sunflowers with the kids? Asda had some little 'fun to grow' pots, just for kids - I think they were 3 for a pound.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
