Congrats on what you've achieved... next challenge is to look at how to extend your comfort zone further like karmakat says. I redraw my comfort zone every year....

Not sure what the weather is doing today. Blue sky out of the front window, dirty grey out of the back. Windy, so we'll see which way the clouds are going.

2 bags out for the charity collection van. Had to split them up as realised one only takes clothes, and I'd put books in too.

I have just had my last payment from work in Shropshire, so now have a scary time ahead if I don't want to dip into savings over the next month.

    Back later with some numbers.

Just realised I've been posting elsewhere and not here.

Charity van arrived just after I posted yesterday which was good. They've also started putting a note through saying thanks.

We've had a bit of an issue round here with the charity bags. You'll get a bag through the door from a 'proper' charity which says for example Thursday; then the next day will come a flyer from one of these Eastern European outfits with collection on the same day. So you don't actually know who takes the stuff. I know because I was watching yesterday, that the NSPCC van, only took the NSPCC bag, but doubt the Eastern European bods are quite as scrupulous.

Sorry that was a bit random.

Shopping yesterday £45.75 - but a fair amount of that was microwave packets of porridge for Mum, and generally stuff to tempt her appetite.
    Money in purse - £82.50 :T
Money in bank - just enough for all the DD's.

I've got used to being paid weekly, so it will take some adjusting to being salaried again, especially as I won't have worked a full month when I first get paid. I think at first I will split money into weekly chunks to make sure I manage OK.

Today I have veg delivery from farm and am off to tidy up the freezer.

Then meeting pal for lunch, then meeting sister, going to Mum's then off out for tea! Mum may come with us, it depends how she feels.

I've also realised that Mum owes me money, which she did through internet banking, but she banks with a building society so it takes a while. And sister owes me for her share of the Wimbledon trip! So money coming back in, which hopefully I won't need, so is technically savings.

Not much more to report really.

Popping back home to pick up DS, we are all out for tea tonight. Special treat as I won't be around much for the next couple of weeks.

I've been out for lunch with friend and fantasy shopping with sister. (Well who can afford a necklace at £118999 - and no that's not missing a decimal point :D) Although I did spend some money in Body Shop.

Tomorrow I am having my hair cut, I've decided against colour as this is a new hairdresser for me, and she's not used to my hair yet.

And Sunday I am doing nothing at all! I have tidied everything that can be tidied, and sorted out clothes etc. The only issue I have is that at the moment I know I'll be away Monday and Tuesday night, and also Thursday night, so will have to take a full weeks worth of stuff in case I'm away Wednesday too.

So mainly this weekend I just want to relax, I may go and have coffee with a friend or something nice like that.

You made your own luck, by working hard for it, and yes, expanding your comfort zone :)

Gill, just to say that I am very pleased for you. I was thinking also about your question about the comfort zone. I see it more as expanding it continuously and systematically. Because after you have done something out of your CZ it gets included within it.
