What a great list! My sister got married that same year too - in fact, only two days later :) I was *really* sick of weddings by the end of the summer :o

My sister got married the Saturday before them! In a classic dress, high neck, full sleeves etc. and then meringues became fashionable. Did I add that I made my bridesmaids dress, so was heartily sick of it by the time the day came :rotfl:

Oh wow! Eerie the way our lives have paralleled a little bit .... my sister's was very classy - my mum made it, white lace over white .... erm, something. My bridesmaid's dress was formfitting Barbie pink :) which my sister made - I'm the one that didn't inherit the sewing gene :)

Foot is a lovely shade of greeny/blue today, have had to wear ballet pumps but my feet are too wide and they look daft.

I did an approved foods order at the weekend, haven't done one for ages, mainly things like bread mix, flour, couscous and drinks for DS. drinks were very cheap and so got lots, other stuff was reasonable and I checked the prices on mysupermarket to make sure I was saving enough to cover the delivery charge.

I am trying to be organised and meal plan etc. today I left the house looking like I'd just come back from the shops. I have with me (in my little fridge!)

3 cooked jacket spuds (just to heat up)
    container of beans
    container with remains of curry
    grated cheese
    container with salad
    sachets of cup a soup
    couple of rolls
    jar of coffee
    some HM flapjacks

    whats missing?

oh yes, need to go out and buy chocolate :D but it may involve a bit of a detour as the river at the bottom of the road is subject to a flood warning.

Woah! Flood warnings are scary - don't like that image they have of a house submerged in water :( take care - nothing, nothing is worth imperilling yourself. Endangering. I meant endangering. I do not live in the nineteenth century :o write out 100 times.

Hope you enjoy your nosh :j and you *must* have chocolate :)

The river near me is really high and was flooding over the road - not good.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear about the foot.

Just wondered about the red dress & jacket, would you get more wear by splitting them. e.g. dress with a black jacket, or the red jacket with jeans/trousers or skirt. I suppose it depends on the style though.

I could wear the dress with a different jacket, but the jacket is a long line one, so wouldn't go with trousers. It may go with a long skirt, but will have to take some photos so people with better 'eye' than me can decide.

    Anyhow, ducks.

The wall is someones back garden wall, over 6ft high, and over 3ft above the river level.
