    Is this the current design for Lloyds TSB account cards?
    Green = classic/silver
    Gold = Gold account
    Silver = Platinum account
    Black = Premier

    Or have they been discontinued/made by request?

    Green is defo the classic (I've got that as my bill payment account)
    Then you get silver, then gold, then platinum (have had all those). Not sure bout the premier but am waiting on my new card coming through next week so will let you know. Hope it is black - looks rather snazzy :D x
    Current Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland
    Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo CC
    T Mobile (new i-phone :p)

    You cannot upgrade your account automatically. It is subject to status and the way you manage your accounts.

    Define new customer? As I'm a 99 and been there since January.
    I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

    I think it must be based on whether your file shows they might make money out of you like martin says. Just because you have good credit doesnt mean your there ideal customer you might be so good with cash they wont make money.

    Where as someone with a iva but is paying back alot will use there o/d and make the bank money.

    I went online banking and clicked on current accounts and it said we can't process your app onlibe but we may be able to help you in branch please pop in with one of the following forms of id?

    Whats that to do additional searches and waste my time.

    hmmm... since January???

    Definetly not new!!!

    You got a cash account or classic?
  • I remeber when they lauched the argos card my mate turned 18 applied and they gave him a grand limit. So within two days he had maxed it out and had some cheap flat pack furniture and a lovely £470 stereo system!!!

    They gave me a £500 limit and I just got a ps2 when they launched them.

    Started on Silver but downgraded to Classic.

    I think lloyds system is pretty confusing that even some of their staff do not understand.
    As stated, i have seen someone with good clear credit file on all 3 CRA but yet LTSB still wont give him upgrades due to what they call 'credit bureau data'.
    How does one work this out?

    This someone i referred to now suddenly has a good record with LTSB. The info 'credit bureau data' has now disappeared. Dont ask me how cos no one told him what the data was in the first place and if it really existed. The good news is that it is now clear
