9 weeks?! Is that all?! :eek:
I have done pretty much all of the Christmas shopping though throughout the year when bargains appeared so at least it won't be an expensive 9 weeks for me. :T

I've paid £3 towards my TCC - my daily £1s for today, Saturday and Sunday.

I'm getting there! It's great to see it chipping away at the balance.

Got a few more things selling on ebay at the moment but must make more of an effort with it really and get lots more listed. Will aim to get 5 more items on there tomorrow!

Haven't been able to post this week - had a great weekend away but returned home shattered ready to start a non-stop week at work.

Can't believe that in 980 days I'll be debt free! Doing well in paying extra towards my tesco credit card, although November will be a tough month as we have a few bits and pieces we'd planned earlier in the year so I won't be in a position to throw much overpayment towards TCC. I haven't managed to pay my daily £1 this week - so just paid £5 to make up for it.

I'll be back on track from today and am going to sit down and plan how I'll clear the TCC by 18th Jan which would have been 100 days since I started this thread.

Novagirl and Badpenny - hope you are both doing well and not overspending!!!

Gosh am I in a panic about November! DH and I went away last weekend and spent far too much. We did have a brilliant time though

I have 3 weeks to pay day and before that need to go to a friends party, and we also booked a weekend away with a family who live quite a way away from us. On top of that, there's school dinners, petrol and food to pay for....... :eek:

I have paid all my minimum payments but am frustrated that I won't make many overpayments (if any at all!) to my TCC.

Haven't got much planned for the weekend - we will get around to apple bobbing at some point I guess!

Everyone needs a break sometimes and at least you had a great time

Just had my electricity bill come through of just over £300 which is alot less that I thought it would be. My nightly ritual of sitting under blankets and not putting heating on must be doing something.

Got a few ebay listings ending but must get doing some more.

Just completed my daily ritual of paying my £1! Also managed to deposit 3 £2 coins into my sealed tin - it's feeling quite heavy and I'm trying to decide whether to break open at the end of 2009 and start a fresh one for 2010 or whether to keep all the sealed tins and open them on my debt free date - decisions, decisons!!

Novagirl, I really need to get my act together on Ebaying. I have loads of stuff that I could really do with selling, giving away or chucking. Do you have a set plan eg do you list every day or on certain days, are there any better days for listings to end etc. Any little tip would be welcomed.

Won't be doing a great deal today. It has absolutely poured down over night so everything is really wet. I'll be off shortly to do the weekly shop, but after that I think it'll be playing with the children and chillin out.
