  • Gosh I was in bed by 9pm last night, I was so tired. However, I've just woken up as I've probably had enough sleep. Thought I'd do my daily transfers so I can catch another 2 hours before I have to get up.

Set aside my £2 towards the BHF - will be sending the cheque tomorrow.

I'm away this weekend, meeting some friends who live miles away from us. We will be self catering which I'm glad about as I don't really want to be spending money on restaurants, one because I'm skint this month so it would have to go on credit card and secondly because I would rather spend any money paying back my TCC. I am totally surprised with the determination I have at the moment to clear this card by 18th Jan 2010, it's almost become an obsession!!!

I'm very impressed at your dedication! That can of coke is allowed every now and again I'm sure :)
Didn't manage to do the complete 20..didn't get round to cleaning the fish out but he hasn't left home yet so will do that first thing in the morning. Paid my £1 today too so all is good here.
Hope you enjoy the swimming ~ I've not been for ages so I might have to make an effort to go at some point :)

    Enjoy your evening!
  • Hi

Just been listening to the radio about the couple in Wales who have won £45 million - £4,500 would do me! I wouldn't be able to cope with all the pressure of managing that amount of money!

Novagirl - So pleased your fishy didn't leave home, that would have been a disaster with it being so near Christmas! Glad you're keeping up with your daily £1s... they're all adding up.

I'm going to do some householdy types of things this evening.... nothing very exciting.
  • Daily £2 for the BHF set aside - I'll be sending the cheque for £10 later today.

Received some expenses through today - went to pay them towards my TCC but am half asleep and selected a different credit card . Never mind it still went towards my debt rather than being squandered!

    Have a good day..........

Whoops! (but like you say, it all went towards the grand total)

I know what you mean about 45 million. I'd end up leaving it in the bank I think until I decided what on earth I was going to do with it.
  • Thank goodness it's Friday tomorrow!!

I'm back to paying my daily £1 towards my debt. Also contributed a further £3 as I didn't buy lunch today. For some reason I've had lots of loose change in my purse so plonked that in my sealed tin.

I've started to put together my goals for 2010 - I want to really squash a lot of debt next year. If I can persevere for 12 months, I should be in a much better place by next Christmas. I never ever want to get into debt again - it's so soul destroying.

    Have a good evening...............

Well done for keeping up with making your own lunches too. Those £3s will add up so quickly for you.

I, like you, don't want to let the debts build up again. Want to be able then to start paying my money towards my mortgage! :)
  • Morning!

Daily £1 paid (also paid £1 for both Saturday and Sunday as we are going away for the weekend and I may not have access to the internet).

A few items on Ebay closed last night and I made a few pennies. This has spurred me on so I'm going to list a few more next week.

Hope everyone has a great weekend (and the rain stays away!!) x

Enjoy your weekend away. You're very organised paying the £1s for those days too.

Glad that your ebay items sold. I love packaging them up as then there's more space in the house and more pennies in the bank account :)
  • Hi Guys,

Not posted in a while, fell off the wagon for a bit but now i'm back. You are both doing so well with your daily payments, i've just been paid so hopefully will be able to join in again. Just by not coming on here as regularly i've really slipped over the last couple of weeks so need to get back on the straight and narrow.

    bye for now....
