Hello Badpenny...welcome back. As long as you didn't slip too much, i'm sure we can let you off0
-
Hi Badpenny, great to see you back! It is so easy to lose focus especially when there's lots of things you could be spending money on rather than paying back the debts!
Just paid my daily £1. I get paid on Friday so am hoping to pay a chunk towards TCC.
Have a great day.......0 -
If you're getting paid on Friday then that means I am too! Woop woop!
Will be my last full pay though as I'll be on maternity leave soon. Think that's when i'll be ebaying ALOT to clear some space and make some cash.0 -
Hi Novagirl,
When are you due? How exciting!! Do you know whether its a boy or girl? I didn't find out with either of mine - just bought everything white!!
They grow up so quickly - not babies for very long!!0 -
31st January and it's a boy so we'll have one of each then.
I'm kicking myself though...my credit card bill has a late payment charge! Stupid me never set up the future payment like I usually do. GRRRR. Never mind. That should teach me.0 -
Snap! I have one of each too!
Nightmare over the late payment. Why don't you give the CC company a call to see if they'll remove it as a gesture of goodwill - has worked for me once or twice!!0 -
Might give that a try..they can only say no!
UPDATE : they are going to refund the £12.Thank you so much as I wouldn't have even tried to ask for it back had you not said.

Great news novagirl! It's always worth a try.
I've managed a NSD today - needed to as money is a little tight now until pay day.
Have managed to get myself orgainsed for the week - didn't get much time over the weekend as we were away. It just completely throws me out if I don't get off to a good start on Monday morning. I do feel that paying my £1 first thing does kick off the day well - I know that within minutes of getting up I would have achieved 1 thing on my list!!
I'm also going to focus on my weight - 7lbs have managed to secretly slip onto my hips over the last few weeks and I'm feeling so sluggish. I'm going to approach my "Be Healthy" campaign with the same focus as I've put into my debt free challenge - baby steps every day (pardon the pun Novagirl!!). I'm hoping to shed the excess 7 by the end of January (ages away I know but Christmas is in the way!!) - the alcohol definately has to go!
Not much planned for this weekend, so I'm hoping to finish my Christmas cards and make my list for my last bits and pieces. I love Christmas and can't wait for this year's.... not a lot planned but all the family will be together and I get some time off to spend with the munchkins - bliss!0 -
Well I've had a little break through! I applied and was accepted for a 0% credit card - I seriously thought I would be turned down with my credit rating. My plan is to transfer the balances of 2 store cards and 1 "hefty" interest credit card. The transfer fee will be just over what I'm currently paying in interest per month. I will then be able to concentrate on over paying on the last credit card and then clear the 0% (the credit limit won't allow me to transfer all my unsecured debt).
I've just paid my daily £1 and lobbed an additional £4 to round down my account.
Have a good day .....0 -
My daily £1 has just been paid.
Attempting a NSD today as I really don't have anything to spend! However, on saying that I don't REALLY need to buy anything.
Lousy weather, I don't mind it being cold as you can wrap up but I'm not keen on the rain.
Right off to do my daily scratch card....0
