Hi
I haven't posted for a couple of days as it's been so busy. I have continued to pay my £1 per day and managed to make sandwiches for work yesterday so also contributed £3 to my TCC. Slowly but surely, the debt is heading in the right direction.
Mandragora, thanks for popping in - the jigsaw idea is brilliant! I'm going to ask for a 900 piece jigsaw for Christmas and start piecing together on 18th January!
Novagirl - £13.50 - that's fabulous!! What are you planning on selling next? I've signed up to the scratch cards so adding a little each day to my fund!
Badpenny, I had to work late last night so didn't manage to go for a swim (are your surprised?!!). I will go tomorrow evening though! I do have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the walk on Saturday - we ended up being out for about 2 hours and walked 3 miles (which was no mean feat with a 4 year old in tow!).
I've got another really busy day in work today but I am taking a days holiday on Friday as DH and I are off for the weekend, so there's something to look forward to.
Have a great day x0 -
Glad to hear you're still keeping up the £1 a day payments and that the scratch cards are coming along.

Think I might try socks next lol0 -
Oh this week is so busy - I'm completely shattered and it's only Wednesday! Don't know if I'm coming or going in work at the moment - there's so much to do and not enough hours - at least it keeps me away from the shops at lunch time!! Looking forawrd to the extra hours' sleep on Sunday :rotfl:
Just paid my daily £1. I'm amazed that I've paid over £1000 towards my card since I began to concentrate in August - the last week or two I have been so focussed that it is becoming relatively easy not to spend on things I don't need - I'm surprised by the amount of money I have been frittering away!
Hope everyone is OK - have a good day x0 -
Hi
Checking in to confirm that I've paid my daily £1. My month ends for me today as I get paid tomorrow. Just totted up that I have thrown £526 EXTRA towards my TCC this month - money which I may have wasted if I hadn't been focussing. I've got a long way to go before I pay the whole amount owed but I am really pleased with my progress so far. November will be challenging as I have something booked every weekend. I'll really have to practice some self discipline!
Badpenny, I have failed miserably on the exercise front! I haven't made the swim this week. Note to self, must try harder next week - hope you are on track!
I'm off to make my list for next week.......0 -
Good to hear you've kept up with the £1 payments...me too! It's my pay day tomorrow as well so I'm going to make an effort to stick to my budget to the pound this coming month!0

Hi Novagirl,
Great news on your daily £1s!! I'm with you on the budget sticking - it'll be harder keeping on track now that Christmas is only 9 weeks away!!0
