Thanks Haribo, I'll take your recommendation and do that one then :D Now not being a "proper" cook ( I need a recipe for baking, can't just throw it together ;)) will I need to make any adjustments because I'm using wholemeal flour not white? I wonder if I'll need more liquid, as if I do more than 50% wholemeal in a loaf I usually up the liquid a tad. Any advice gratefully received :D:D

Its been very quiet shez Haribo tonight, thought you and OH may have been trying out the new mattress :D

Some hope. Anyway... It looks like it's built for comfort more than speed. :D (the mattress not OH)

Forgot to congratulate your OH on getting back to work Jackie and his spongey cake. :T

PS.... I'm not an instinctive baker Churchie, just an experimental savoury cook.:D
If you usually up the liquid with wm flour then i'd do that with this too.

I don't us that recipe for the frosting... I do make that bit up and it's basically 1 part butter to 5 parts cream cheese, icing sugar and some lemon zest. ;)

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

He's on the living room couch not a psychiatrist's couch.:o

Have just discovered that the shepherd's pie leftovers have been cooking on gas mark one since 7pm. I fancied a piece of it and just found the oven on.... Very MSE as it saves me heating it up in the micro and it's only a teensy bit crunchy. :D

Thanks Haribo. And that's exactly the type of frosting I want to do :T I'll report back tomorrow ( unless it's a total failure :o:p)

I can do the savoury bit too :D With baking I at least need a recipe to ignore :rotfl:
