Morning All,
a tad nippier this morning so winter looks as though its only round the corner. This morning I have to take youngest DD for her forth interview for the same job.I think she will spit bullets if after all this time she gets a no,thanks.
Then this afternoon I have my history class, which is one I do strictly for entertainment .My Uni tutor runs it, and we all pick different historical figures to learn about each week. Its really good fun as our tutor is excellent and very amusing .We had an hilarious one a couple of weeks ago about the late Duke of Winsor and his very odd wife the Duchess.
Tonights dinner will be something from my freezer,I'm still trying to eat it down.I'm sure stuff is multiplying in there, possibly some fish for a change.
Hope everyone has a good day and gets everything done that they want to.
I watched last weeks show with Barbra Streisand and J.Ross on catch-up t.v.she really has got the most amazing voice, even at her age its still clear as a bell.Great interview as well I'm not a fan of JR as a rule but last weeks one was very good as he wasn't quite so smutty as he normally is, shame he can't be like it a bit more often.well time to get a wriggle on
Cheers Chums

Just having a quick coffee before I go off for my meeting with the accountants where I pretend to know what I'm talking about.
Hooray... Man pullling up in a van....our new mattress has arrived. :j Back in a tic.

Where was I?
Oh yes, accountant... Then shopping, then home to do a bit of tidying in the garden and some bulb planting. Making Shepherd's pie with some lamb mince from the freezer tonight and a lazy night in front of the telly.

a late one for me as I've just got up:eek: and have to be at work shortly. I woke in the early hours with a bad head and was sick so went back to bed. I feel a bit better now but not 'right' iykwim. I'm going in to work but think I'll ask to leave early as its an 11 hour shift.
No OSing today due to bad head and work.
Its my last day at work before 9 days off:j DH has next week off too and we're hoping to have a few days out and also paint the bathroom.

Morning all :hello:
Wow - some of you are real early risers  I couldn't possibly cope without my full 9 hours!
Made my brownies last night (v yummy too) only for DH to say, "mmmm very tasty but I could murder some jaffa cakes". I politely told him what he could do with his jaffa cakes and suggested that he might eat his brownie in another room :rotfl:
He's off work today so tea is his responsibility - so not sure what it will be but I imagine either eggs or sausages will feature heavily. Nothing that requires defrosting, because he can't think a whole day in advance bless him :smileyhea I have it on good authority that he's also going to hoover and clean the bathroom today, so I will consider forgiving "Browniegate" as it has now become known.
Have a lovely day and weekend all, I'm off galavanting for our 1st anniversary this weekend so won't be able to pop in and say hi.
xx
PS - you're a lovely bunch! I feel very welcome!Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
What you've been out there searching for forever is in your hands0
