Good to hear the coconut worked well BB, bought some the other day to try but forgot to put it in!!!
I've found that while the one made with white flour was nicest eaten fresh, the wholemeal tastes better if you can keep it till the next day - how do you all like yours best?
Got to say that this is one of my fav things to make now - thanks again Lynn!

Mine never lasts until the next day - dd's beg to start on it the minute it is out of the breadmaker!!

Got two bunches of slightly over-ripe bananas at the co-op yesterday for .20p so will make two loaves today and try to keep the wholemeal hidden until tomorrow!

I'm after one of these, but is it worth saving £15 on a recon one when I could get brand new from Amazon?
    Anybodies thoughts welcome!

Made this today. It was delicious. I used a little less sugar but still found it deliciously sweet.

But I didn't know how to make it bake for so long as it just said 30 mins. I took it out after 30 mins and did it in the oven with a crumble.

How do you change the cooking time on bake only? (Sorry it's a dumb question.)

Thanks for the recipe. I think we'll be experimenting with different fruits too.

When you select bake it will come up as 30 mins, then you can press the timer button and increase the time until it says 55 mins.

    hth!

Yum, yum, yum... I chucked half a packet of pecans in with my first attempt (they were lurking in the cupboard) and it's come out GORGEOUS!! I can also recommend spreading with nutella (goes off to find appropriate smiley)

I made the cake with stewed rhubarb and it was delish. I did put the full cup of sugar in but as the rhubarb had been well sweetened, it's a little too sweet for me. However, it does go very nicely warmed with hot custard. Even my boys, who refuse to eat rhubarb asked formore :)
