Has anyone seen or heard from Fairy Elephant lately? I know that she finally got the situation from work sorted, but don't think I've seen her about the boards at al since then? It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Jackie, FE said in her last post that she may have some internet problems so her posting would be hit and miss.

Had a busy day so late post from me. Had a friend up for coffee this morning and wanted to bake a fresh cake for her but had run out of eggs so made my first ever eggless almond cake and very passable it was too.
had another friend up for dinner and we gorged ourselves on ribs, burgers, wedges, corn and coleslaw with salad from the garden (not that there is much left as my chickens are saladalholics.
Have just laid out some pink outfits for the girlies for school tommorrow as they have breast cancer awareness day. After some questioning it became apparent that neither of them knew what breast cancer was.I explained the cancer bit but then they were still confused about the breast bit. So boobie cancer it is. :rotfl:
Have also made them cheese and crackers, yoghurt and fruit for lunches and a prawn mayo sandwich for OH's lunch.
Have now retired to bed with a magazine and a family bag of maltesers.
Sleep well everyone

Another one here with a shortfall of brain power, mine is definitely caused by stress, what's even worse I can't even talk about it, aarrgghh. Actually, I'm not allowed to alk about it til situation is resolved, I have my acas booklet on workplace bullying in one hand & a voodoo doll in the other, wish me luck.
OSwise, still cooking from scratch, but I'll be doing that as long as I can breath, housework, nothing being done, but that's normal for me. I am really getting on well with my ripple stitch crochet blanket, slowly, but it's beginning to take shape.
Hugs to all those in need.
Hester
Good luck in dealing with that bullying Hester...hope you get it sorted out.
