  • Hi Guys!

Jayne & George-have been thinking of you for the last couple of days. Please do take it easy. Your little fella sounds gorgeous....Gorgeous George. It was a bit chilly last night and I have my winter duvet on:o Hugs and Kisses xx

I really need a kick up the !!!!!...I still have 1100 words to find to complete my essay and I really dont feel like it today and I have to send by tonight. I keep punching in words and the number doesnt seem to be going lower:confused:

My head is still playing up but my INR was low...I cant remember whether I said that yesterday. My brain is like swiss cheese atm and its horrible. I have always been quick thinking but over the past few months I have really noticed how slow my brain is working. OH & DD finish my sentances and sometimes it really upsets me.

WM & DW have been on today and emptied. Cleaner has been so house clean and tidy.

OH went to Aldi this morning and got a cabbage (29p), sprouts (39p), maris piper spuds (2.5kg 59p) and brocolli (39p), cottage cheese, cucumber, lettuce, cheese, milk, Hershey choc:D and a few other bits and spent under £10...excellent value.

Tonihgt we have the shepherds pie pie from Abel and Cole, it looks horrible but smells nice:rotfl:

Anyway, I must go. Hugs to all.

    PP
    xx

Mr LW often does that..... drives me nuts. Then other times I struggle for the right word and we end up playing "20 Questions" while he tries to guess what word it is I want.

Maybe you could borrow some from the the Daily to make up your word-count? ;)

Perhaps something to be mentioned when you are sat around your supper table, they may not realise how it can make you feel when they do it.

I have tried explaining but some days I'm okay with it but other more sensitive days, I get upset.

    Thanks Floss. It's much appreciated.

Just had a quick read through over the last few days, and had to come in and send lots of (((hugs))) to you both Jayne and George, I am so sorry to hear your sad news xx

Bitsy - that sauce sounds mmm will give it a go
Meanmarie - nice to see you back glad you enjoyed yourself, hope the hip and knee settle down a bit soon
catznine - congratulations to your DD and her BF,
Penny Pincher and Floss - I know what you mean about finishing sentence's off it drives me  especially when they finish it off wrong  OH is always doing it, despite being gently asked not to and yelled at 'STOP IT' he still does it:rolleyes:
Anniestar - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I am still chuckling about the guinea pigs.

Went shopping earlier and did quite well at Morries got a huge bag of golden delicious apples (10) for 49p, 2 for 1 red salmon, 6 fresh baked torpedo rolls 69p (20p off), 2 thick toastie loaves £1, chicken drumsticks 2 packs for £3 they are now slpit up and in the freezer, so all in all a good shop.

OH is off to play snooker tonight so I am looking forward to a night in front of the TV with my knitting, penguins at the moment, bet they dont get to the charity when DGS sees them:D, ah well I will have to do lots and hide them.
Also doing a scarf for an old lady who lives in the sheltered housing by Mum, she had the wool but she cant knit it up so I got volunteered  I dont mind though it doesnt take long and she needs it as its getting colder now.

Enjoy the rest of your evenings (((Hugs))) for all in need and I hope all the poorlys feel better soon

    Evening all

Thanks for the lovely welcome. Been on a course today which included a free lunch so saved a few pennies there:D.

Made 2 weetibix cakes last night, which there is only 1 left after the kids had to try it out! Had Shepherds Pie for tea out of the freezer. Am determined to live out of my freezer for this month as it is just too full and need to make room for some christmas stuff.

Have noted down the receipes for the chicken balti and BBq sauce -Thanks to those that posted them. Need to buckle down and clear out my clutter this week, so aiming to do a bit tonight.

Hugs to all who need them

Another one here with a shortfall of brain power, mine is definitely caused by stress, what's even worse I can't even talk about it, aarrgghh. Actually, I'm not allowed to alk about it til situation is resolved, I have my acas booklet on workplace bullying in one hand & a voodoo doll in the other, wish me luck.
OSwise, still cooking from scratch, but I'll be doing that as long as I can breath, housework, nothing being done, but that's normal for me. I am really getting on well with my ripple stitch crochet blanket, slowly, but it's beginning to take shape.
Hugs to all those in need.

Evening gang, well not much to report.:o Made the lentil loaf and preped some veg as wasn't feeling too bad(aren't painkillers great!). Mark isn't feeling too great(only a bug) so didn't want much to eat. He ended up with beans on toast and I had some chicken butties-these ungrateful wretches didn't touch the chicken I bought and roasted in olive oil and butter for them:confused:
Am going to settle down to watch the Horse Of The Year Show:A I always cry when the pony club games are on(am typing with wet eyes.
Anyway, will post shortly- My beloved Pony Club games are on.
    Speak soon.

    Take care,
    Ann xx
