Me again! Washing done and dried and bedding is now swishing around looking interesting!(glad I'm not the only one that loves to watch the washer)
Really glad that the tea is sorted as I feel tired and a bit washed out. Must get some baking done and some more meal planning as the reserves are running a bit low. being injured means I have to be a bit more creative in a different way. (Of course thats only until Thriftlady arrives:j)
Mark is home. He had an appointment with his consultant (one of many, but thankfully a reducing band!) he said things went ok.
Anyway, other than that have been looking at my "personal pressie accounts" pretty pleased with the results.
Got £58 in nectar points all due to my never having used them and also by getting points via a survey site.
I have £40 in Sainsburys vouchers via Toluna.
I have £201 on my Boots advantage card:j:j have only used to buy very frivilous stuff(ie body glitter for giging) so am happy about that. I had my eyes done at Boots hence the high points total.
I have £120 in Amazon:j via survey site x2 and a win on GFK reward draw:j I am going to buy all of Marks birthday and Christmas pressies from here(and not the panasoinc ice cream maker I am lusting over)

Anyway I am getting boring now sorry:o

Essex girl You live in a beautiful part of the country(I know this is from a few days ago) Years ago Mark had the GCSE papers from an Essex school and the topic was where I live(or something like that) It sounded stunning and he googled the area-and my goodness how lovely. Hope your cat is feeling much better.

Hope that sarahsaver gets well soon.

Bitsy Beans wow what a stunning cake:T Also enjoy your concert. I adore live music and always feel better after a gig.

Harribo enjoy your Tru day-you deserve it.
TiredMum Will look forward to it. Hugs to you and yours.
Pen-Pin! Hope you feel much better today. Enjoy your U.S. goodies.
Jward I love mushroom soup you enjoy yours.
Ivyleaf ditto mushroom goulash. Sounds lovely.
Cel the fishies sound great(or even love hearts!

BargainBird I feel exhausted just reading your list:T Amazing.
LameWolf:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: You would be more than welcome. I love Shepard's pie
Thriftlady well you had shoulder length dark brown hair and you were wearing a lovely top. The OS'er you were grappling with had fair hair but thats all I "saw". Anyway.......When are you arriving????? can sort the back room out for you. Just say the word.
Cat Addict you live near me. How many cats do you have?

    Talking about cats
(SADDO ALERT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
Tomorrow two of our gang are 9( two of the handreared litter) including my handsome avatar. So we bought a chicken to roast for them(I will have a bit as well.

If anyone is still awake well done:T Am going to put garlic bread in.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening.

Take care and thanks you are all fab.

    Ann xx

    Hi Guys,
Bitsy - thats a brilliant cake. They do one similar in Waitrose and it costs a fortune. Well done.

Im such a silly billy. I went into DS 1 bedroom to put some clothes away and its the first time since the upsetting incident on Sunday morning. Anyway on his desk were two piles of white powder. Really neat pile. Oh S**t I thought he is on coccaine. My worst nightmare on God's earth. I sat there with my head in my hands, shaking my head. I thought id better put it in an envelope to get it tested and show his father. It felt really wierd and couldn't think straight so I thought id better taste it - dont ask me why. It tasted salty sort of but really familiar. Then it clicked - it was bicarbonate of soda which i had liberally spread early on Sunday morning and promptly forgotten about. So my old style came back to haunt me. It gave us a laugh though and my DS1 really saw the funny side of it which was good as we actually laughed together about it.

Anyway hope everyone had a good day,
    love Molly
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Evening all - just in from w*rk soaked after waiting ages for a bus.

Tea tonight will be pork chops - just waiting for dd(13) to come in before we start cooking. She's going to do a Meal Plan tonight too. Shes been doing it for a couple of months now and it's brilliant - she chooses what she likes and thinks she will enjoy cooking with me and I get lots more help.

Got to try to find time to nip over to the benefits board later - my Newish Love Interest had a bit of a shock at the weekend when he got a text from the ex to say that she was going away for a week and wouldn't be picking up their dd(8) - no school uniform, clothes for the week or even a coat - poor thing. Anyway it seems that she might never be coming back - just like that no warning whatsoever. Anyway as he's still in a blind panic I said I would help with how to transfer CB, WTC and CSA etc

I've got the Archers on on Freeview and keep looking up to see what's happening - d'oh
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

:rotfl:'Fraid it's short and fairish and all my tops are skanky. I obviously scrub up better in dreams.

Nigel Slater's sausage and mustard pasta delicious and really easy. Perfect 'in a hurry' family meal.

    Good evening,

Thanks for your continued support. Goodness knows I need it. My friends, family and cyber family are all being very good to me. MOD liason are also keeping in touch. George is coping alright, but was a bit upset at lunchtime today at school. I was upset dropping him off this morning, but my friend helped me out.

The bad news is that although a post mortem will be done next Monday afternoon, there is no coroner on the island until the 19th of October, so the inquest won't be held until then, and repatriation procedures can't start until after the inquest.

Thanks again, and thank you especially to all those who have sent me pm's.

That's so hard Jayne. I can't imagine how you're dealing with it all. Please remember that all our offers of help are genuine. Please take us up on them if we can do anything.

    Lots of love

Edited to add. My God Stef, your poor man and his poor daughter. Hope you can get him all the advice he needs. xxx
