Turned out rather well I think :D

It may be sad(doesn't everybody sit on the floor watching their washer working:confused:?)

I do occassionally - I don't know why - it's just really relaxing :o :rotfl:I want to start marketing little plastic fish you can put into the washer to watch go round and round and round :) I reckon kids would really like that :)

Ooh, yes, babies in their bouncy chairs would love those.... and cats - I had a cat who would endeavour to catch things with his paw as they went round!

    Hi all,
I noticed the N/S weather divide too, sorry its bad down South but we dont seem to have had many sunny days this year really, even when its been dry its still been grey,so I think we deserve it :D

I've not done much today apart from a big shop at A.I've not done a BIG shop for ages, just bits from here and there. The trouble is you do get sucked in-I got a jacket, cardigan and new bra for me,and 3 T-shirts for DH.:eek:Mind you his Ts were def needed, his clothes have gone tatty looking all of a sudden.I did get some reduced meat bargains tho'-some to put in the freezer as supplies were getting a bit low.Tea tonight will be a reduced joint of lamb, not had lamb for ages, yum.

Finished my cord skirt yesterday and am wearing it today.I think pattern instructions must have got better since I used to sew years ago,I always used to struggle putting zips in-always looked messy, but it went in fine and I'm pleased with it.I've got some more of the same fabric to do another, this time its black with a tiny white dot.

Well, better go,DS1 wants me to make some white flour cakes(bread rolls) for a change,as opposed to my usual wholemeal and multi seed/grain loaf.
    Welcome to the new people,hiya.
    Jayne/George,thinking of you.
    Sunflower-glad your news was positive.
Sunnyday and PP-hope you improve as the day goes on.
MSD- I miss an 'older' mum figure too, though I suppose I'm rapidly becoming one myself :rotfl:xxx

    Hello everyone

Hope you dont mind another new one joining in. I have been reading the threads for a while and picked up so many tips.

I am a single mum, work part time. I have 3 kids 1dd who lives in the lakes, 2ds the youngest with Adhd, who is statemented and gets 18 1/2 hours teaching assistant per week at school.

I tend to make most things from scratch,as dont like additives, artificial colourings or preservatives in food as they seen to make my youngest worse. Last nights tea was sausage casserole from a recipe on MSE, it was delicious. Tonights is pot luck from the freezer, took them out last night but didnt label them when they went in & stewed apples with custard.

Hugs to all who need them.

    Welcome Topsyturphy :hello:

I've had a lovely day. The meal plan has changed as the girls have gone to a friend's for tea so OH and I will be having grilled sirloin with baked spud and salad.
Have gardened and knitted and footered all day and have finished the hat I wanted to so it will be in the post to a lovely, deserving lady tommorrow. ;)

    Take care all

    Haribo x
