    Morning all:wave:

Wet here and my washing still damp from yesterday. I've got the heating on for a little while to try and get it dry before the next lot is out of the machine.

Breakfast was porridge and raspberries/bananas/sultanas with honey or syrup. I had sour dough toast and quince jelly.

Lunchboxes have pitta pizzas with tupperware chorizo crumbles on them. They also have flapjacks and fruit.
I will probably have sour dough bruschetta with goat's cheese and tomato and some fruit.

Supper will be Nigel Slater's sausage and mustard pasta as it will be quick to throw together when I get back from the swimming run.

    Jobs today
sew dd's swimming badges onto her costume
make coleslaw and maybe hummus too
do laundry and attempt to get it all dry

I have already turned out the kitchen junk drawer, the stationery drawer and the basket that is magnetised to the side of the fridge and was full of dd's school certificates. Goodness, they must use up a lot of paper giving out certificates for every single thing:rolleyes:

    Morning everyone.
Am still holding out putting the heating on. I am in a t-shirt and a bit cooler than I would like but nothing major. I am so glad we had cavity wall put in last year - I really think it's made a difference to how warm this house is (either that or I am just getting hardy to not having the heating on a lot!).
A friend had an operation yesterday and I want to pick her up a get well card and DS's pre school rang last week and they want me to take him back in so they can see him again. They are keen to see how he's getting on at nursery so might walk to the school and then pop to the shop and pick up a card.
Then just the usual round of cleaning and wahsing. DD is into EVERYTHING and managed to tip over herself her dry weetabix in a bowl on the side. I'd put in some crumbly bits from the bottom of the cereal container (waste not want not ;)) so she managed to make herself look covered in brown snow  I swear I spend so much time sweeping up I must be Cinderella :rotfl:
BBQ Chicken for tea tonight. I didn't do it yesterday as I was too busy finishing my Self Evaluation Form for Ofsted. Now completed :T Just some other bits of paperwork to tweak and I am all set (sort of :o).

Found out last night that H is taking me to see Andy Williams on Friday night. I knew we were going out somewhere but he was keeping it a secret. He was on Later with Jools Holland and although at 82 he's cracking on a bit I am looking forward to going to see him perform. It's only a small thing I believe but am excited :D

Jayne and George - thinking of you guys xxx

Mrs Mix - hope the funeral goes as well as can be expected xx

Have a good day OS or not.

    Goodmorning,
Just read the last bit of yesterday's thread as I was in bed by 7.30 last night. i had a very bad day but feel much better now.
Jayne - hope you and George are doing ok. My thoughts are with you.
Sunflower - Im glad that your prognosis is very positive.

Well its quite quiet here today. Three of the kids are at school/ college and DD is up to walk the doggies. I found DS1 asleep on sofa this morning as he cant cope with the smell in his bedroom now its been a few days:T A lesson is being learnt me thinks!!!! Hope the carpet cleaner comes soon though.

OS - well washing again. My lady coming again tomorrow to help me - I hope. I have some books to post that I have sold. I did really well and although it has slowed down I hope a few more will go. A nice sum for christmas.

Well hope everyone is having a good day,
    Love Molly
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    morning all!

was very wet here last night and the rain made a heck of a noise on the scaffolding! hopefully they will finish today (cavity wall insulation on upper floor and new window sills plus new rendering) am fed up with the mess they have made but we should be a lot warmer upstairs this winter. No heating on for me yet - will probably light the fire soon as DH has got lots of wood saved up for it and leave the central heating as long as possible.

2 loads of washing(have stripped bed)

    Morning everyone :hello:

Jayne I hope you got some sleep and George didn't get up too early. Thinking of you both.
Hope the funeral goes ok Pam.
I'm glad things went well with the OT Diva.

Am hoping to spend less time cleaning today and more time doing the things I want. Inspired by Tru last night I "did a Haribo" after the girls came over all Cleopatra and bathed themselves in my good moisturiser in the bath. It took 3 goes to rinse their hair and OH didn't like being disturbed to help.
The garden needs tidying, the baking box is empty again and have some flowers to knit and sew on to a hat that I've finished knitting. :D I also have 3 magazines to read and lots of coffee to drink.:D
Lunch will be Hm egg mayo sandwiches and tea is going to be ribs and burgers with a baked potato and coleslaw, thereby using up some BBQ food from the freezer.

    Better go

    Take care all

    Haribo x

edited to add... Welcome Lowesy :hello:

    Morning all!

Grey, damp and gloomy weather here today pah!

Kids all packed off to school, bathrooms S&S, tom sauce cooking ready for Hugh's chorizo meatballs - need a taste tester really, finger's crossed oh is around at some point today! Need to make some bread to go with it, will throw stuff in bm in a bit, then bake it in oven as want french sticks, will also knock up a couple of tray bakes, not quite sure where all the cake is going at the mo- poss ds selling it again at school?!

Really hoping my new cookbooks arrive today, tracking system for parcelforce is pants, just tells me there's an order at the mo and it's been sent! OH's books are also due, he's ordered a new copy of some cheffy bible and a basic copy as a pressie for a chap he's training, so if all else fails I shall be reading their books as Amazon are pretty reliable and delivery is due today!

Will be S&S the kitchen whilst I'm cooking and that will be it for OS stuff today, really must get some sleep!

Lunches today were hm sausage rolls, note to self, need to make some more for the freezer, fruit jellies, satsumas/apples, hobnobs.

Dinner will be hugh's mexican chorizo shaped into meatballs for the Econ Gast recipe, with hm french sticks and salad with avocado (picked up some more last night at work, reduced to 8p each and bogof!) Pud will be something simple like ice cream.

Need to get cauli and broccoli cheese cooked up later too, that can go in oven whilst doing bread/traybakes, will then keep some for tomorrow to go with gammon and freeze the rest for next week sometime.

Have a good day all, just going to fill bm and wm and then make a coffee and catch up with you all xx
