  • hi guys, need your help! Ive been charged with finding a laptop for my sister in laws Christmas present (11). She needs it for homework, internet & music. From what Ive read, not overly sure how much RAM I need, but think 2GB. Can any one advise me on what other spec I need to look for, and even better if anyone can recomend a sub £300 inc delivery laptop. She doesnt want a recon, and would rather a known brand type. Thankyou!!!

I purchased one on Thursday, I received an email saying my order was being processed and would receive a further email once despatched "Depending on Availbility"

I've heard nothing more, is this just normal practice, I'm curious if the have them in or not.

Anyone know who delivers laptops for Dixons?

Dunno about laptops but our pc from Dixons (few weeks ago) was delivered by DHL.

Neither could I, in fact, I'm still waiting to be informed when it's being despatched.
