    Afternoon peeps

late on here again today, i`ve been struggling to keep up lately as i`ve been working extra shifts and swapping around to help out.
One of the girls i work with has had an accident and will be off for quite a while so i`m not sure how we will manage really, she is in good spirits though which is nice to know.

Downside is that i`ve got a bit run down and feel rather carp atm, sore throat, congestion and wanting to sleep non stop are my symptoms but i`m hoping that they won`t last for too long.

Horrible cold and rainy here so i`ve finally given in and put the heating on this morning, i needed somewhere to dry the washing and as half my kitchen is boxed up and dotted around the house atm the radiators are the only place free.

Not much os here either today as i just don`t have the energy, i did make a big pan of soup after walking the houndies but thats about all :o i need to haul myself off the sofa and put some slap on ready to face another long and rather late shift at work.

((((HUGS)))) for Cranky & little George! thinking of you both.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Thrifty - I was reading about Method products on another thread and thought what a lovely idea. I was too tired at the time to follow the link so very grateful for you posting it today.

Bitsy hon - Thank you, that made me laugh. I tend to get terribly superior when I am angry and that just makes things worse half the time.. My vocabularly suddenly expands and I sound like a walking dictionary! However, if I get emotional I will stand back and let you deal with it for me :rotfl::rotfl:

Sunny - hope you feel better soon hon.

Just filled the WM again but am avoiding the pile of clothes with the spider in it.. Oh didn't I mention it? It was a fairly large one and was on the ceiling and suddenly dropped down on its thread and ended up on a pile of my OHs clothes and disappeared under a tshirt.

I've never had celeriac. What does it taste like? I had fennel once about 15 years ago but havent been able to find it in the shops.
Celeriac is sometimes called celery root because it tastes like celery. Same family I think.

Fennel is in all of the big supermarkets. I'm surprised you can't find it.

Now I know I'm a woman of a certain age, and that the sight of Neil Oliver's bare chest made me forget that I am happily betrothed, but I seriously don't recall posting this comment?! And I certainly aint planning any more offspring

Is it just me or is the Daily a bit like the Twilight Zone today?:o

Just sitting down to lunch of a small ploughman's. ;)
Have cleaned out the chickens, tidied up and done a small shop. Dinner is prepped and I'm going to attempt to master crochet this afternoon now that I'm confident and a bit bored with the knitting. :o
thriftlady, I'm growing a dozen celriac in the garden which are nearly ready. My favourite recipe is celeriac dauphinoise.

Cranky, I hope you are getting all the support you need. Remember that we're here for you and my offer still stands. xxxxxx

I managed to battle my sickliness enough to put some towels in the WM and will boil up some macaroni to be turned into macaroni cheese for dinner tonight but not sure I can manage much beyond that. Considering starting knitting the second glove in the pair I was making as I've got one full, sewn up glove and one ball of yarn that should be a glove!! The colder weather is making me wish they were a full pair.

    Hi,
I have just got up again for the second time. I am feeling so poorly today and still feel very wobbly - well more wobbly than usual weebles woobble - actually thats a really good name for me! I might change it. Soory rambling. Need to get a cuppa and some food inside me.

Need to go and organise the washing - there is lots of it. Ladyshopper -thankyou for the tip. It was Milton Keynes. Perhaps I will book a scooter in Northampton instead. Wierd undertones on this thread again - i dont understand why.

    Love, Molly
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
