    Oh OK :D

It's just that I see this as a 'daily chat about OS' thread, not a 'daily chat by people who happen to do OS-ey things' thread. IYSWIM :D Not very good at words on screen, I can never explain myself properly  I'm much better face to face, honest :D

I do see what you mean but I still don't let it stop me :rotfl:

Cranky, I'm so sorry to hear your devastating news. Can't begin to imagine what you are going though. As others have said, you have plenty of support on here, please use us as you need to!

Anything I'm doing today seems a little pointless on reporting on given Cranky's news, so I won't bother today.

Molly41 - Just to say, if its House Of Fraser in Milton Keynes you're going to, you can't redeem the £5 voucher in there as they don't have a home department. They are giving them out (go to the cash office), but you have to find somewhere else to use them. They suggested Beatties in Northampton, if I get all my bits done today I might take a trip there if I can be bothered!

Here here.. I dont want to see any more of these posts encouraging people to send nasty pms or form some kind of club against other users and any evidence of this flaming or bullying I see will be reported. We have a lovely community here with only the odd exception and this is being undermined by the actions of some posters.

Have some people learned nothing from the awful events last night on here? Isn't life wayy too short to hold petty grudges against people we do not know. Said it before, will say it again. If you don't like someone just don't read or respond to their posts. Works for me.

Still thinking of Jayne and George and hoping they get through with the help of their life family and the lovely folks on here.

    Morning one and all!

Jayne and little George, you are both in my thoughts and prayers, words can't really help, but please please, feel free to ask if you need anything - I can't think of anything to offer at the mo other than a listening ear xxx

Aussie - read your post too fast and thought that the haribo club were having a meeting on Thursday!!!! Crikey, an Australian branch too! Haribo, I like your posts and your humour, keep posting x

Well today was meant to be oil change day, once I go and get the oil, but since it's persisting down then I think I might wait. Turns out that the leak was just due to needing a new oil filter, so that was a relief, mechanic actually said my car was in really good condition (once you see past all the kids' junk in it anyway!)

OS so far has involved cooking the sausages for tonights tea in the moski, making up a batch of bolognese sauce, that will be turned into lasagne one I get to the shops and buy some sheets! Had to use it as dd2 is making burgers today so needed just 100g from a pack - I'm quite pleased that finally they're making something at school that might be of use, dd insisted on taking coriander and chilli with her cos that's what we put in at home, and yes this is the same child who couldn't recognise parsley the other day!

Kids hoovered last night, so just need a quick whizz around, washing needs doing as always, and some clothes need putting away in the correct rooms - I shall leave on the owner's bed.

Lunch today for kids was cheese baps stuffed with cheese and salad, apple, yoghurt and hobnobs.

Dinner will be toad in the hole with mini roasties, cabbage and whatever other veg I grab at Lidl and Aldi!

My dinner will be left over Moroccan stew with couscous, lunch could be anything, will depend when I eat as I'm off to get oil and buy veg.

Just had call from ex, school couldn't get hold of me (strange as I'm at home with house phone and mobile) and apparently ds's maths teacher wants to talk to me, doubt it'll be good news. ds has become quite lazy at school recently, he finds exams easy but struggles with coursework, I do have every sympathy, but it doesn't alter the fact that he needs to pull his finger out. Guess I'll phone her in a min and see what he's not done!

dd1 meanwhile is showing parents around the school this morning and acting as a sports leader at a local first school this afternoon - chalk and cheese my eldest two kids!

    Take care all xx

    Hi everyone,

I had a productive evening yesterday - I cleaned my oven and even polished my granite work tops. We had left over enchiladas for dinner and tonight will be having butternut squash and courgette risotto made with the chicken stock from last weeks carcase.

Tonight will be clearing the spare bedroom for decorating, we need to get it finished in less than 3 weeks when we have visitors arriving.

Jayne and George - I am thinking of you.
