Morning all (no jumpy this morning)
Have been reading but not posting recently, but just wanted to say to Jayne and little George - I am so, so sorry to hear your news. I can't find any words to help, but just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time.

Cranky, I'm so sorry for your loss
As everyone has said, we're all here for you.
Mr tru came home to find me in a bit of a state last night. He's had strong words with the kids, miss tru was out so he was on the phone to her. Judging by his side of the conversation, she listened. Master tru was in, his reaction was 'don't start'
I'm going to Sainsbury's with mum this morning, I'm going to cheer myself up with sugary doughnuts. Then clean out the animals and get some washing and ironing done - just mine and mr tru's, the kid's stuff will be left for them to sort out.
Don't know why I'm posting really, no OS here.Bulletproof0 -
CRANKY - so sorry for your loss. Take care, hun :ADon't know why I'm posting really, no OS here.
No OS here, either
DH is away and I'm not sleeping (awake at 3am this morning, then dozed for an hour before giving in and getting up). I'll be on auto-pilot today, but then I have a few days off, so hope to do more.

Morning everyone.
Jayne - thought of you and George when I got up this morning. Try and get a couple of hours sleep when you can. Have you got family nearby that can give you some support? xx
Tru - don't worry about the lack of OS in your post. I frequently find there is little in mine
BUT I love posting on this thread. I feel like I have a little circle of friends in you guys, which is especially helpful when I feel like some of my real life friends aren't making much effort with me
Diva - sorry Tris isn't well. Stand your ground about the manager shouting at you. Ram the point home about how unprofessional his conduct was and how as a customer you don't expect to be treated this way. Just pretend I am standing behind you - I am gobby enough for the both of us :rotfl:
Right well can you believe I cleaned all the windows inside and out and now it's raining  Didn't I just know that was going to happen.....thankfully though I managed to wash two net curtains and get them dried so all is not lost
Didn't sit down at all yesterday and think today is going to be more of the same.
Spoke to my Ofsted inspector yesterday - she wanted to tell me there are 3 possible dates that she will come and see me (basically the next 3 Fridays ). So that being the case I am trying to plough through a 30 page Self Evaluation form by Friday. It's not compulsory to complete but it means I have to spend less time talking to her and lets face it with kids having a well phrased conversation with someone who I find a leeeeeeetle bit intimidating isn't going to be easy :rotfl: She sounded really nice on the phone and even assured me she was human
so hopefully she'll be kind to me.
So some kind of BBQ chicken (courtesy of Delia) for tea, although I've got nothing out of the freezer for it LOL!
Should have popped and bought some lamb chops for mindee's dinner on Friday so might have a quick scoot up the shop to pick some up.
Had better head off and have some breakfast.
Have a good day everyone OS or not.
Hugs to those that need them.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning all,
Decided to do some gardening this morning. It was a nice morning for it. Warm but not hot. After lunch I made a moussaka. I've never made one before. It was a bit of prep but it made a huge dish so that's what we'll be eating for the rest of the week by the looks of it.
DD rang as I was having my arv cuppa. She's at her place sick. During the conversation I discovered that instead of txt her yesterday arv about XDIL, I txt XDIL.
She was going to drop DGS off here in the next week but I bet that's going to be cancelled now. Can't believe it. Never done that before and to think I had to do it with her. I don't usually bad mouth people but she's the exception. So giving myself a bit of a flogging atm. Oh well, can't change it so that's that.
Cranky That's a good idea about telling George later in the week. He'll need you to comfort him. I hope he will be a huge comfort to you as well. <hugs>
Ruby Have you ever watched the movie ET?
Mrs Mix Lovely to read your post.
AgeandjoI wonder if her accent will have changed? Hope you all have fun.
Hope you all have a nice day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Just read the end of yesterday's thread and wanted to come on to join everyone else in saying how very very sorry I was to hear your sad news. Thinking of you and your family

Morning all,
CRANKY, I'm so sorry to hear of your devastating news, prayers being said for you and George. Remember we are all here for you.
A 5am start here today, old brain started whirling away so gave up trying to sleep. WM and BM on. I'm looking after DF's house as they are on holiday and I have the pick of anything in their garden so collected 2 bags of apples last night and have part cooked them. Apple cake and a pie will be made later.
Just finished the mountain of ironing whilst listening to Alan Bennett's talking heads. 'There's a cream cracker under the sofa'
Will be having DGD2 this afternoon so something to look forward to.
Take care all.0 -

It's just that I see this as a 'daily chat about OS' thread, not a 'daily chat by people who happen to do OS-ey things' thread. IYSWIM
Not very good at words on screen, I can never explain myself properly  I'm much better face to face, honest
Hi Aussie, haven't chatted to you for ages :hello: You seem to be logging off just as I appear - hope it's just coincidence  :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
