Don't give up on Tescos. I felt like you after a bad experience with an R+R but after a few shops at another large supermarket which doesn't accept coupons I went back to Tescos. Still don't like Tescos but can save more money their. Think of all that lovely MFI furniture and free toiletries0 -
WELSH-DRAGON wrote:Hiya All, haven't been to Tescos today but let's just say re my post yesterday what comes around, goes around ...............
I wish they had repeated the £4 voucher in the Mail as I have a large family shop to do shortly

Hey
im always having bad experiences with tesco, i leave it a few days and try again.
in 1 store they watch me like im going to steal something and when i go to pay you get a supervisor come over to talk to till person about nothing much just to see what you are using.
i got them the otherday as in said store one manager said they could take any amount of tesco coupons as long as they scan, so repeated it to her when she said i could only use 1. in the end i got them all for next to nothing again!!
just do what i do walk in all happy as you arent doing any thing wrong they accept the coupons.
i like your posts as you were the person on here who made me use coupons and im so glad you did.

Well I had much more of a positive experience today:
bought marie claire for £2.99 got a £1.00 voucher and a goodie bag containing a bar of chocolate and hair conditioner from the promotion stand. I had quite a few health and beauty bargains. I nicely added to my points balance and I saved enough money today using vouchers that I had enough in my budget to buy myself one outfit for tonight and one outfit to wear to work.
In the name of trying to get some more vouchers I also sampled some Mint Aero drink but didn't get any
Whilst in store however, I found some lovely bargains in the kids section:
3 superhero characters eg superman etc reduced from £7.99 to only £1.99 a pack. So bought two and got a farm tractor set also reduced from about £8 to only £1.99.
The glitch on the kids games has been rectified in my store.

I'm ashamed to say I rarely or never used to use my money off vouchers from my Clubcard statement - I always used to forget them at the bottom of my purse. Won't be doing that anymore! Does anyone know many points you need per £1 clubcard voucher?0 -

hi Rachel
the best place is on here, one company that sends a £1.00 voucher is king of shaves (male or female) but you need to do a survey, its not much but the voucher allways arrives (change email address for another go) as good as cash in asda :beer:2015 wins £4.00 not mse:(
2014 £44.00:mad:2013 £83.00 2012 £601.50
2011 £1554.50 2010 £698.00 2009 £2793.00
2008 £2816.00 2007 £1034.000 -

rozeepozee wrote:Hey Welshy, glad things are better for you today. Checked my receipts and found I had my first till spit. Never had one of these before, as you know, so I now need to buy £15 worth of kids clothes to get 500 extra points. It looks as though they don't issue till spits at my local store (a metro) as this one was issued at a superstore that I don't ordinarily shop in.

rozeepozee wrote:Shopped in Waitrose for the first time since I knew about coupons. The till operator was new and didn't know the coupon policy so she called CS rep over. He confirmed their policy was to accept any number of coupons regardless of whether they store stocked the items. All coupons readily accepted, incl internet printed ones, without quibble. Happy RozeePozee :j
Well I had the opposite experinece in the Waitrose in Ramsgate last week. They said only 10% in coupons, and were extremely picky about which ones they would take. Not nice at all. I was pretty disappointed after all i've read about Waitrose on here!0 -
djl just pm'd you - also have some spare olay vouchers if you'd like them
nightsong - unfortunately voucher usage can be like that, very hit and miss. They do not all sing from the same hymn sheet which means that one day you can get a cashier that scans everything, the next day you'll have one that refuses everything. Also I see it as a bonus initally I used to budget for total spend minus vouchers but now I do not.
