ha ella2002 we must have been at the same store today because I saw the coffee stand outside. They weren't giving out samples but I asked if I could take some vouchers and got 20 x 30p vouchers.

I have been combining coupon usage with r&r'ing in tesco so they end up paying me to shop sometimes....i have spent 7 hours traveling around and shopping in tesco's today...now that is when i finally realised how sad i have become....then again im £200 nearer to my new kitchen using mfi vouchers funded by tesco and have sold no end on toiletries on so it really is a win-win situation0

I actually read this last week and showed my wife. The reason I never posted it was to not bring undue attention to it. The same reason I don't post saying 'i've saved £x amount today'.
I know how much I save. My wife knows how much I save. And that suits me!!!
If I can use this analogy - Your local Supermarket has a shop assistant that keeps giving you a twenty pound change every day instead of a tenner. The Supermarket manager knows her maths aren't great but decides to let it ride (after all it is only a tenner). One day you go to the manager in front of a large crowd and say that over the last year the assistant has given you £2,000 and everybody should try. In response the girl is sacked and you no longer get your £10 for every visit. Okay this might be an awful anology but this is exactly what people who boast about their exploits are doing. I hold no mallice towards them but please think and think again. Let us keep it on a low key - PLEASE FOR ALL OUR SAKES.

But they get to redeem the coupons so they are making a profit from the handling fees involved too
it's only imbecile managers who don't realise this

Totally agree with you....maybe this coupon lark becomes complacency....i must admit there are a few till ops i know take loads of vouchers and i have been known to "take advantage" of this fact....will be sticking to a more modest amount of vouchers in future as even £1 off is better than nothing off eh0
