Hi COOLTRIKERCHICK, I'm fine, how are you! It's flippin' hot today but I expect we're both all the better for the lovely coupon in the Mail!

Must go and buy some more and put most of the copies out for recycling before OH sees how many Daily Mails I have bought. He just doesn't geddit!

The way I look on it, this is like getting multiples of £1 for a 5p outlay. Much better value than on ebay, last time I bought some coupons there, people were wanting half the face value of them which was too much for me.

Only thing is the Daily Mail coupons have a short expiry date, but I like visiting Mr T little and often, even if I can only use 1 or 3 coupons it makes a nice dent in a £10 spend!

    :T

yes coupon-mad...its blinking hot......stay in doors in this weather ..... coupons in the mail.. have short use bys on them.....for the last two weeks i have only done very basic shops.... but with these mails vouchers....i will do a bigger one.....i know at the end of the day we got to pay for the mail....but my 45p has then made me 95p interest (coupon worth £1.40) so what type of place would give you a return on your money like that....when i have a fist full of vouchers i tend to buy things to store.. like loo roll..washing powder... dog food etc.....and all big packs... so i can still have the benefit of the vouchers, long after i have used them.....i must admit i have been lucky with my supermarket.... and its come at the right time...as things are very....very......tight....put it this way..if i did not have money off vouchers........i would have no money in the bank to pay for bills.....

how many daily mails have you bought? i am just about to go venture out in this heat to buy some.....( open the car doors first for 5 mins )

Been outside filling the paddling pool for the children, so couldn't get any more Daily Mails since the six copies I bought earlier! I have used 2 of the coupons already tho', and when OH gets in I may just pop out to get a few bits...Daily Mails....etc.!

  • I have just been to my local asda and they now will not take ANY coupons unless you have purchased the product.

My tesco will only take a measly ONE coupon per shop

looks like my coupon collecting days have come to an end:(

After reading this thread i feel thankful that my tesco is so good!

I can use get upto 50% off the total bill and the coupons dont have to be all different either.

I also find Waitrose really easy for a few bits and bobs as they will take 50% off with 6 coupons max too.

I have had to talk several times to Tescos customer service manager and i asked her to put the policy of the store in writing. So now if any member of staff says no to me, i whip out my letter and they soon realise it is hand signed by there manager! :rotfl:

I hope this does not spread to all the ASDAs - I just got off almost £13 today on a £102-odd shop, bringing it down to £89-odd. I was very pleased. I have found a lovely checkout girl, who just said as I had bought so much she would take the lot off (and even put through three that last week's girl refused).

Apparently it has been my asda store policy from the beginning of this week.

i have just sent an email to asda asking if this is the Official Asda Policy. am awaiting their reply.

got my fingers crossed that it might make my store do a U turn. :o

the lad in Tesco's the other day had a written policy. 10% off your shopping with vouchers, said they had all been given them. Today they took £11 worth of vouchers off a £26 shop.
