I have never shopped at Fuse before, but thought some of you ladies might be interested in some of the sale items. The clothes are quite unusual for plus size considering they are very dressy and trendy. There are only 38 items listed but some interesting stuff.

I have ordered this skirt. I don't know what I am going to wear it with though! :( I hate showing my legs. I don't like tights and have never tried leggings with skirts before. Not sure how good it would look with leggings anyway. I probably won't get a chance to wear it. Any ideas?

You need to be careful with Bon Marche regarding their sizes. I only buy their fleece PJ's online as they do fit. Underwear fit true, but because they skirt between s-xl and actual sizes it doesn't always transfer well. I have bought L leggings as the XL were far too big (26ish bottom) and this often transfers over to other trousers as well.

They have told me as well, if you get stuff sent to the store for pick up, they will stamp any savings card you have that is still current. Haven't tried this out yet.
  • I agree about the sizes, the normal sizes like 18,20,22 etc seem quite true to size but the 2 sizes together like 20-22 , 18-20 I find are quite generous . The other sizes they use M, L ,XL are all over the place I think its because if the XL is in their standard range it comes up smaller than if the XL is in their plus range eg XL, 2XL 3XL.

Having said all that I have become a convert and I do quite like some of their stuff. Last year I bought the flannel pyjamas(for myself and Xmas gifts) and some of the knitted tunics which where great with leggings, I also have 3 of the swimdresses which are fab and this summer having always bought my linen trousers from M&S I bought them from BM and they have been great and much cheaper for the same quality. I shop mainly online and have it delivered in store, they do stamp your card if you take in your invoice and when the card is full you get £5 off it really is worth joining the bonus club as they send you vouchers from time to time. I am in my mid 40's and always thought it was an shop for the much older lady but I have been pleasantly surprised.

  • Did anyone else attend plus north at the weekend? I went and had a fab time! There was a £5 sample sale and I got a fab pair of boots a ton of freebies, there was a fab photo booth and 5 fashion shows, had a nice weekend, loads of plussize companies there and jewelry, can't wait for next years, but it won't be in Manchester, it will be somewhere else, the fashion shows were modelled by the plussize public, it was a good atmosphere, I also dragged my cousin to the body confidence workshop and in the goodie bags there were load of discount codes, can I put the codes on here? They ranged from 10-20% and some had freebies included.

Never heard of such a thing. Sounds fab tho. How did U find out about it? What a great idea. Don't know about the codes tho, sounds as tho they were only for those who attended. The stores might be glad of extra custom but who knows?
    Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)
  • The codes were on leaflets in the goodie bags. There were 250 people in attendance, so I doubt it was specific, I found out through a blog called Curvyculture I posted the link a while ago, it is a plussize blog.

I will post the codes up soon, have to get the bag out first.
