I got some from Bon Marche of all places - nice and thick. When I went into Simply Be today they had some thicker ones but they were expensive

Speaking of Simply Be, they have a good sale on in the stores at the minute. I bought a Joe Brown's black cami with lace and adjustable straps for £5 which is really nice. (I only wanted it to wear for bed with the new Ted Baker PJ bottoms I got in Debenhams sale!) They have some nice t-shirts too, there seem to be a lot of 'end' sizes - 28's and 30's and 14's (the 14 fitted me!!! I nearly danced round the shop!!! I've never worn a 14 in my life!!!)

Oh I forgot about Bon Marche. They had a 2 pack for £12 I think it was, black only. But try them on in store as they S, M, L, XL i'm 24/26 on bottom, and I found the XL too big, so went for L (as I want tighter ones).

I wish I could find some white ones!

    Yours sell white leggings.

I've bought the black cropped ones (basic and lace trim) and they are great for the gym. Not see through and wash well. They do come up big, though. I can get into a 22-24 and I think I'm more a 26 on my lower half usually. I did buy the lace panel ones in 2010 and they are much thinner. However, I use them as 'tights' under dresses that are shorter, so being see through isn't so much of an issue-and the lace bit up the side of the leg is quite cooling in the heat.

I recently bought leggings from evans and simply be. Great colours but thin material. None of them were see through, but the quality wasn't great. After a couple of washes they no longer look nice, bobbled.
  • got some nice t shirts from https://www.everything5pounds.com
P&P depends on how much you buy & starts at £3.95
when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

If you're looking for smart blouses for work, this Ebayer does some nice colours up to a size 26 for ladies, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Premier-Ladies-Poplin-Shirt-Womens-Long-Sleeve-Blouse-Fitted-25-Colours-8-26-/111007804950?pt=UK_Women_s_Tops_Shirts&var=&hash=item5f7f5ed7bc they also do mens polo shirts up to a 10xl and mens smart shirts up to a 22" collar, 21" fitted a 58" chest nicely.

I do agree, you have listed limited choices for larger men. The website that I have found to be good for this is largeandtall.co.uk.

I used to live in Leamington Spa and they have a shop there and this is their online store. They provide a good customer service and a good range of clothes. I am 6ft 9inch and they have a great range for me but do sell clothes for the wider bearthed man too.

I hope you lads and ladies don't mind my sharing this link. A close friend is setting up a plus size / large lads t-shirt shop and running a survey. There's a £15 amazon voucher competition too but it's mainly to gauge interest and get feedback.

I have a double vested interest as my moaning about not being able to find a Dr Who/Star Wars mashup shirt in my size prompted this venture :)

Warning, I completed this survey yesterday using a rarely used email address. This morning I had a fishing email sent to that address. Coincidence?

Definitely, either SurveyMonkey are spamming you or it's a coincidence. I spoke to my friend this morning and she hasn't even downloaded the survey details from the site.

She'll pass your concerns onto SurveyMonkey to investigate further.

    Thanks
