  • I popped in the Trespass shop today just to check out the fit & price (£20 in the outlet shop) of their waterproof jackets that pack away small and can confirm that a xxl will fit a 22, so if I come across one cheap (eBay etc) I may buy one of those too as the weather lately has been so hot and humid (ick) that I think I may roast to death (or would that be boil) in a full length coat if it rains (and it's a pain carrying around a big coat when you just don't know if it will rain or not)!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

    :)

    Long time :hello:

    Could I just have a rant & a praise please? :o

Evans = rant - all summer tops seem to have huge arm holes so you can never lift your arms  Their ribbed knickers come apart immediately but their CS do not care. My review wasn't allowed

Anyway Praise be to Yours Clothing:beer:
:T Fabulous clothes - good prices. Always codes for discounts. Quidco too.
You pay £1.49 for a returns Collect+ label but if you don't use it you can use on next order, just cross out order ref & write new one in :)
Got this divine top which I haven't taken off for 3 days, it's cotton & very well made. So I've ordered the matching t shirts & the other colourway.

Know a few people here have bought from USA. Can someone tell me how much it adds to get customs prepaid. Have been looking on USA ebay for dressy outfit but seems to be adding $50.00 to the price. I think you go down 2 sizes how does that work in reality for a good fit. This is the type of outfit I am looking for if anyone has seen the like in the UK. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Long-Modest-Mother-of-the-Bride-Groom-Lace-Top-Formal-Wedding-Gown-Simple-Dress-/181211579965?pt=US_Mother_of_the_Bride_Dresses&var=&hash=item2a310d463d
    Thanks for your help.

    Hiya all :)
I'm only right on the very edge of the 'plus size' category now (I'm between a 14-18 depending on the shop and what it is I'm buying) but as snap-ant has had her rants I have a couple of my own ;)
1st) Simply Be's sizing is INSANE!!! What's going on there??? I bought a top and a pair of leggings in the Leicester Highcross shop t'other day - they're size 12!!!  I'm usually a 14 at the very least but it seems that the size '12' is actually more like a '14' vanity sizing or what?! I had a load of stuff there when I was big but I don't recall their sizes ever being that bad!!!!
2nd) Yours. The quality is so bad its unreal! Not the first time I've had problems. I bought a pair of black cotton jeggings with gold zip detail in July however I didn't wear them until mid-August. First time I wore them the zip broke  however I fixed it and I didn't wear them again until the end of September. Zip broke again and I noticed they were awfully baggy but they stayed up (just) I wore them for the final time last Thursday and they were unwearable - so baggy they actually fell down on several occasions (luckily I managed to catch them :p) and not even a belt helped. I know I've lost weight but it looked to me like the elastic had gone  I threw them in the bin when I got home - they weren't cheap either - they cost £28!!!!!!!!

Hi, I dont know if anyone can help me, but some time ago, could be a couple of years ago, I found an australian plus size website for clothing which had quite edgy clothes, not particularly cheap but not quite as expensive as the 'taking shape' collection.

I cant find this website to save my life now!

    Any ideas?

Hi there - I was in Matalan in Oldham last week (looking really run down, I think it's having a refurbish) and there was loads of Rogers and Rogers clothes all half price or less. Worth calling in if you're near-ish :)
  • Just reading Mumsnet style and beauty and saw mention of this site http://www.pinkclove.co.uk/ . The poster was pleased with their purchases. Sizes 16-32.

Too young and short for me, but may be of interest to some.

I've just found out about them too. Been eyeing up several dresses and a couple of skirts on their site. If I cave and order anything, I'll report back on the quality and service.

Apologies if this is old news, Debenhams now appear to go up to a 20 in their Red Herring range, I also noted J by Jasper Conran were stocking 20s so it may be more than just those ranges. It's great for me as I'm between 18-20 and love those ranges! Definitely a fashionable range and they always have sales on.
