Can anyone recommend thick winter tights for a size 22 tall lady? All the ones I've tried so far have been about 4 inches too short - no use at all! (Not evans though please).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

I am the same size as you and size 22, 5ft 10. Ive been reading some plus size blogs and one of the bloggers recommends Primark stirrup leggings as tights. Bit worried as they only go up to size 20 but apparently they are very good and look like thick tights when on. Obviously you can only really wear boots with them due to the stirrup bit. Have you tried Yours Clothing or SimplyBe for tights?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Oh and a £10 off a £20 spend at Yours Clothing with the code BLOGGER8. You can have items delivered to your local store.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I've tried loads of tights but found the best to be pretty polly curves 60 dernier. You can buy them loads of places but they are on 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment. I order them online as they don't seem to stock them in my store0

Hi just getting back to you on tights as I bought some yesterday in Primark. They didnt have the stirrup leggings I mentioned but I had read some reviews of their opaque tights apparently there is a big difference in the fit of the different deniers and the ones to go for are the 100 denier microfibre tights, black. Cant remember if there were other colours. I've tried them on and they fit perfectly, easy to pull on up to the crotch and then plenty of material to cover the stomach. I'm a size 22 and 5 ft 10. They cost £2.50, I need to get more now as starting a job in January.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

That's a great price, hope Primark decide to do bigger sizes as well one day
I've been looking for winter knit tights too, my problem has been the size, they didn't go up to size 28, however they may be right for you
I got 120 deniers here, but the knit and the fleece ones are too small for me
http://www.donatellas.com/en/plain/winter
(they sent me a leaflet with a discount code for 10% off, haven't tried if it works: THANKYOU10)
(UPDATE Jan 14: I used the code and it is still valid, it doesn't work with products already on sale though)
Curvissa also do knit tights up to size 24, but they are a bit pricey.
