    Hi everyone :)

I don't suppose anyone has any idea where to buy leggings in a decent thick material?

    HI

I love the Sainsbury's luxury ones that are £10 a pair. They fit and wash really well and they're thick enough to cover all the lumps and bumps.
  • The best leggings I've got come from Asda I've had them for about 3yrs! They're from the Moda range and aren't see through. Sorry I can't remember how much they cost but I think they were less than £10 as I wouldn't pay more than that unless they had bells and whistles :rotfl:

My best ones were Tescos last season. BUT their current ones have reviews saying they're see through, and the dearer pair which I got on a double up clubcard are like wearing cardboard.

Ive just ordered a double pack from New Look to see what they're like.
Tescos were the only one that fit and didn't bag at the knees, or gap at the ankles, so I'm still looking myself too.

I second the Sainsburys luxury ones. The two pack for £10 are good as well , I have lots of them for everyday and wear the luxury ones for best. I tend to stock up when the 25% offer is on.

I've just found David Nieper for the older larger lady. Some good tunics going nicely over trousers. But you have to order in advance as they don't seem to keep much in stock. They make your order in their workshop in the UK. Helpful advice over the phone too.

Marks and spencer do some lovely thick ones with quite a thick waistband too which holds in any lumps and bumps! :)

Not so sure about that. The ones I got (2pack for £14.99) were quite big, but I bought a size down so kept those two. However they're quite baggy in knee/bend areas and the bottoms have no staying power, they keep going up my legs so I had to tuck them in socks which looked odd :D Also they are somewhat see through, more on the stretched areas, which defeats the point of leggings imo as I want as good/tight as tights, but thicker. Less like Nora batty, more fitted.

I think I'm in the Twilight Zone slightly - have a look at the time that Terra Firma edited her post...

    It's a little trick... it's my signature ;)
