I think I've just bought the same jeans! I tried on a few other pairs, but ditched them when I saw these (and didn't bother trying on as they were the same size) - got them home and I can barely do them up :(

Have you thought about doing your own...?
I did, I used Make your own jeans..Google it , you need time and a tape measure but you get exactly what you want x:D

    Hello you lovely, helpful ladies

Do you think with my sizes (30 top, 26 bottom) I could get away with wearing white linen trousers (the lady a few pages back showed them on a photo and she looked lovely) or do you think it will make me look bigger? I always wear black ones in the summer,

I could team them up with a coloured top as my tummy is my worst bit, I get sick of people saying "OOH, you must be nearly due" so I've to wear baggy top to hide the "bump" lol so I can't get tops that gather under my bustline, like an empire style.

I would need the trousers to be a short length and they would be so much cooler and look fresher, the lady who posted the photos looks really nice in them.

Hope you are all well, thanks

I'm a size 20/22, and recently bought a pair of white linen trousers ~ they look stylish, simple and are easy to dress up or dress down according to the situation. I used to have a wardrobe full of black trousers (I often looked like a member of the clergy..... ) but have recently decided to luxuriate in my curves rather than try and hide behind a monochrome dress code. I'd go for it ~ enjoy the summer, and enjoy dressing for it!

I'm a big fan of Joe Browns clothes ~ found via Simply Be or, as I usually do, thro' EBay ~ they go up to a size 30 + and make me feel less like a criminal for my extra pounds.

Gandalf ~ " So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

there should be less women hiding behind dark baggy clothes, and let's be proud of who we are! :)

    Hi Kate,
Your best bet would be to go for a white top also, wearing one colour slimmers and elongates. White is a lovely colour to wear providing you have no dogs and kids to ruin it for you! White actually lightens a person(not so solid and heavy) you can also add lots of statement jewels and bag in any colour. White shows off a little tan and brightens your complexion.. so what are you waiting for?! P.S A must..Skin colour knickers NOT white xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:cool:

I always think Dawn French has a beautiful face, but I wish she wouldn't wear so much black all the time. I don't think it's flattering.

I'm off to find some white linen trousers now. :D

Sorry its late in the day, those of you lucky enough to have a Tesco that does the True range nearby. Tesco has 50% off all ladies wear today 10th June & tomorrow 11th, think there were some exclusions like not underwear & nightwear, sorry can't remember, off for a look tomorrow to see what they have in as I spotted in the tesco near me that doesn't do True so will need to go to the store at the other side of time that does.

    Hi

I need help with a dress for a wedding (day guest) I am a size 20 at the moment but hoping I can get to an 18 by the time the wedding comes. I was looking for a wrap top, maybe 50's style, or maxi style, I have started to tear my hair out as I can't find anything suitable! I am a young 39 years old.

    Thanks x
