Oh thats a shame! I bought mine in an Ann Harvey shop (just found it as a stroke of luck) but have seen it on their website as well...
I saw it on both but decided to order from Debenhams after reading on this thread (I think!) about Ann Harvey being a pain to deal with directly! Oh well, I think I have fallen slightly in love with the other one anyway, so maybe it's meant to be
Thanks again for your help with posting the pic for me to see

That's the one
I think I will stick with that one now, it will give me more time to find the right shoes, etc! It really is lovely too, a really nice feel to it and it is absolutely spot on in length, just hits the top of my feet. It looks much more expensive than £20 too!
I may have to order another in a size down and send the 26 back though as it seems a little bit big round the bust, I'm not sure if I am between sizes at the moment or if it does come up slightly bigger.
Purple is my favourite colour anyway (hence the name) & the dress is a real bargain. Good luck with finding accessories. This bracelet might be nice from yours the plait is similar to the strap's. might be able to find similar on the highstreet.Booo!!!0 -
I ordered some bit's from yours last night they have some real bargain's on there, including this black sequin bolero for £2.40 and purple velvet shrug for the same price. I couldn't resist.Booo!!!0

Lol, I ordered 4 black shrugs from there the other day at £4 each, I figured even if they didn't go with my dress, at that price they would be handy to have to go with other tops and stuff for every day use! I had to stop myself ordering more sale stuff!
My friend and I went through loads of sites today and I now have a gorgeous silver shrug from Curvissa on it's way plus some sandals (3 pairs, oops, lol, honestly I will send back the ones that I don't wear with the dress, haha
) from the JD Williams sites. Found a clutch, plunge bra and long under shorts from various high street stores that I will pick up in the week and apart from some accessories and a haircut the week before so it settles, I think I am done!! :j
This will be the poshest event I will ever go to I think, so I hope I've got everything right :rotfl: (the hotel we will be staying at where the reception is being held is Cliveden House   )0 -

There's an Australian fashion shop that ships overseas (postage costs $30, not sure if this is a flat rate) called Taking Shape. Their website is ts14plus.com.au. Beautiful, comfortable clothes, ideal for work. I've worn their stuff for over 20 years, right from when i first "made it" to size 14.
Quite generous sizing, so it pays to measure up like they suggest and compare to their charts. I think their prices online include their local GST, because that gets taken off for international customers. Maybe when they come in through customs here, our local VAT is added on? Though this seems sporadic.
Sadly, the Aussie dollar has appreciated against the pound over the last few years. A pity. I really liked shopping there when £1 = AUD$2.40 :-)
Another one who I liked in Australia was My Size. I've usually got things I wanted sent to a friend in Australia who then forwarded them on, so perhaps they still don't do overseas sales. Never mind - Taking Shape is the pick of the two.
There's a very nice shop in Norfolk called Big and Beautiful, going right up to size 36. They used to sell online though I think now they no longer do. Still, if anyone lives near Norwich, they have shops in Drayton and Holt.
Curvy Diva (in the UK) go up to size 7x on some of their items, and have free recorded UK delivery, but I'm usually put off by their awful website, which doesn't do justice to their products.0 -

Clothes in Australia are much more expensive than in the UK, on the whole, even on ebay. A lot of Aussies buy from the UK.
Curvy Diva looks like a reseller of American brands, like SWAK.
I've seen their slinky range somewhere else, but can't remember where now....
You are right, their website is not one of the best.0 -

HI Terra and everyone else, I see a few new names on here so Hello to you all too! I have been very busy recently but wanted to catch up and also let you know two of the things I have done on facebook. First I have set up a group page called Lipoedema Ladies, this is for women and girls who have or think they have lipoedema/lipedema to get together and have a natter about issues that affect us. Secondly I started Wingz for women who do not like their arms, I have Lipoedema of the arms (worse than bingo wings) and there is a discount code on their too for Wingz shrugs. I also noticed that Dotty Perkins have some REALLY nice rings and things in at the moment...The XL is about the same as Evans L, and so on downwards, both Arcadia group- but Dottys are so much cheaper than Evans xxxxxxxxxxxx :money:"I AM NOT SHOUTING"0
